"Juliet" She looked up from her homework and at Bette.
"What?"
"Can we talk for a sec?" Because lately conversations I've had that started like that have gone so well
"I'd rather do anything else" She said as she went back to her work
"Please?" Jules dropped her pen and turned to fully face Bette
"Fine, what?"
"I just wanna say I'm really sorry" Jules raised an eyebrow "I've been the worst friend to you lately"
"I don't know what type of game you're playing but if you could leave me out of it that'd be cool"
"No game, I swear. I miss us being friends. Forgive me?" Jules was still beyond angry but a small part of her felt the same way as Bette
"I don't know Bette. What you said was fucked up on so many levels."
"That was way out of line. I was just upset Mr. Costa cut me first round and I took it out on you and June, well mostly you but I feel so bad about it"
"Bette it's gonna take time for me to get over what you said but I will go back to being civil with you if you promise that you are done with emotional warfare"
"Promise" She smiled and held open her arms for a hug. "I hope you know that I truthfully has no intention to hurt you by getting with Oren"
"I kinda owe you an apology too, I let my anger do the talking and I should've just calmly came to you about Oren" They hugged again as the door opened
"You two are friends again?" Jules turned around and saw Oren in the door way. The two made eye contact and she quickly went back over to her side of the room
"Of course" Bette smiled as he walked over to her "Now the three of us can hang like we used to"
"I'm gonna go, but uhm I'll see you later" She waved at Bette before slipping out the room and into the hallway. "Bette just apologized to me and the crazy part is I think she was sincere" Jules said as she walked in Shane's room
"Bette rarely apologizes to anybody on her own"
"I know but I don't think anyone forced her. But enough about that I came to take you up on that offer to vent" He patted a spot on his bed for Jules to sit "First, I need you to tell me I'm not a bad person"
"Why?"
"Just do it"
"You're not a bad person. Why am I telling you something you already know?"
"Because I did something that I already felt shitty about then Bette apologized and now I feel even shittier"
"Capulet..."
"I kissed Oren"
"You what?" Shane yelled and she quickly covered his mouth
"Technically he kissed me but I didn't pull away at first"
