After Jack left.
Anna wipes her face clean of any snot or tears, her eyes were rimmed red and she sighs into the sink, running her fingers through her short hair.
....
Flashback.
4 year old Annabelle.
Queenie had Anna by the arm, guiding her through Diagon Alley. Anna looks around in amazement, her eyes taking in everything for the first time.
"I hope Grindelwald doesn't find out."
Anna wasn't able to control her ability of legilimency at such a young age so it startled her to hear her mother's thoughts.
But luckily for Anna and Queenie it just came in small spurts. She will grow use to her abilities as she grows.
Queenie turns her head and she spots a smiling Anna. Queenie smiles softly in return. "Where are we mama." Anna asks
But Queenie quickly shushes her, eyeing their surroundings. She doesn't know if Grindelwalds men were watching.
Anna reddens and she nods, she was still a four year old, getting flustered was easier and uncontrollable. She tried to reign in her own emotions.
Queenie takes Anna into a dark tavern, ignoring all the catcalls aimed at the her, disgusted in the way men acted.
"I wonder if blondie over there would give me a ride."
Anna looks up at a dirty old man who was checking out her mother, she tilts her head in confusion.
Anna just takes it all in with wide innocent eyes.

In a dark room.
Queenie pulls out her wand. "Lumos." Queenie whispers
The older woman hums happily when she spots the fireplace, making her way over, inspecting it.
"Finally."
Queenie turns to her small daughter, "okay honey, listen to me, we're going to your aunt Tina's, so what I want you to do is grab some of this floo and enter the fireplace and yell out Aunty Tinas house, which will get you straight there." Queenie says
Anna nods rapidly, excited.
....
Tina's home.
Anna appears through the fireplace, stepping through.
Tina Scamander and Newt Scamander were already expecting her, they both held wide smiles on their faces as they quickly look at each other.
"She's tiny for a four year old."
"Wow, you are as beautiful as your mother said, hello my dear niece, I'm your aunty Tina!" Tina says, waving.
"I love her already, she's like a tiny Queenie."
Anna smiles widely and she runs over, startling her aunt as she hugs hers. "How sweet." Newt says softly.

Queenie had Anna in her arms as she leads her through the cozy home. "Why are we here mama." Anna whispers
"Well I wanted you to meet my sister and her little family, which in extension our family, my dear. Your aunty Tina has just given birth to your little cousin, his name is Jack." Queenie says
"I have a cousin." Anna asks excitedly, bouncing up and down in her arms.
Queenie giggles and she nods. "Would you like to meet him." Newt asks, making the small blonde turn and nod excitedly.
"So cute!!!"
They take Anna into a blue nursery.
Anna gasps as she sees the tiniest human ever. Anna leans over the small crib, taking in the tiniest little baby inside.
"Hi Jack." Anna whispers
Jack stares up at Anna with wide eyes, drooling onto his thumb. Anna giggles and she reaches into the crib, gently touching his foot, yelping when he kicks her.
The adults stiffen, only to relax when Anna falls into a fit of giggles. "Naughty baby." Anna coos
....
Later that night.
Anna wakes up with a small gasp, sitting up in her bed when she notices that her mother wasn't laying besides her.
Anna softly lands onto the hard wood, making her way over to the open door and down the hall, creeping behind the half open door which emitted light.
Anna hears soft whispers.
"Queenie, that girl shouldn't be in the same house as Grindelwald, she will never have a normal childhood." Tina whispers harshly
"I know, I know, but he's her father, he loves her. I'm already putting her in danger talking to you. I pledged my allegiance to him." Queenie says
"We remember but your here now, because you know it's what's best for her." Newt says
"I'm spying on the deadliest criminal, it's too much of a risk." Queenie says
"If Grindelwald loves his daughter as much as you say he does then he will never hurt her, that means your safe too." Tina says
Anna didn't understand what the adults were whispering so harshly about so she creeps backwards, turning and making her way to her baby cousins room.
....
Anna just watch's Jack sleep, softly sucking his thumb.
....
Present.
After washing her face, Anna straightens and she makes her back into her dorm.
Anna pauses when she sees Lily. "Hey." Anna says softly.
Lily smiles. "Hey....are you okay." Lily asks "oh yeah, I just had a coughing fit. I had something lodged in my throat and I started tearing up. Plus I didn't get much sleep last night, was to busy finishing homework." Anna says
"That and having detention." Lily says "oh yeah, Sirius kept me up with his constant whinning, for two whole hours." Anna jokes
Lily chuckles. "Yeah that's Sirius." Lily says
"But it wasn't all that bad, Dorcas was there, she knocked some sense into him." Anna says "thank god for Dorcas." Lily teases
"So enough on me, what's wrong with you." Anna asks "oh nothing, just trying to escape from James, today's large scheme is flowers following my every step." Lily says, annoyed.
Anna chuckles. "That explains the trail of lilies, very original." Anna jokes
Lily giggles. "I know, but it's kind've cute if it weren't so annoying, that's why I'm on the bed." Lily says
"Do you think the spell will ware off." Anna asks "hopefully or I'm going to go on with my life with a trail of lilies behind me." Lily says
Anna smiles. "Do you think you'll ever give into him." Anna asks "not likely." Lily says, making Anna laugh.
