Later that day.
Remus gasps awake, sweat covering his trembling body. His hair sticking to his head. His body aching in all the worst places.
Remus looks out the window and notices how dark it was getting, he moves to get up from his bed when he spots a sleeping Anna at the foot of his bed.
Remus's heart jumps to his throat.
Remus swallows harshly and he softly stands, making his way over to Anna. He gently places her on his bed, covering her in his blanket.
Remus quietly sneaks out of his dorm and he spots his mates. "Why is Anna in your bed." Sirius whispers, jealous.
"I wasn't feeling good so she helped me to bed, I guess we fell asleep, now come one." Remus says
The three nod and follow after Remus.
....
Later that night.
Anna yawns as she wakes up. She quickly notices that she wasn't in her bed and she gets up, jumping when she hears a loud howl.
Anna quickly comes to a sudden realization.
Remus.
Anna moves to the window and she looks out into the forbidden woods. She spots trees moving from afar.
Anna's heart breaks.
Ever since the start of the cycle of the full moon, she's noticed a change in Remus. Anna had read plenty on werewolves and she has met her fair share. Her connections were her fathers, but she knows what signs to look for in a person.
Anna was unintentionally looking for them, and Remus was a red flag for them: Scars, hot temperature, unmatchable strength and stamina.
She noticed all of these.

Anna makes her way to the Astronomy tower, unable to sleep. She was constantly on high alert, worried for Remus.
Anna slows when she sees a familiar face. "Regulus." Anna asks, softly. But despite the quiet tone she took, it startled him away from the microscope.
Anna laughs softly. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." Anna says
Regulus breaths out in relief and he laughs. "It's fine, just didn't expect anyone up here." Regulus says
"Yeah me neither, I usually come up here when I have a lot on my mind." Anna says
"Me too." Regulus says
Anna smiles and she walks up besides him, sitting down. Anna looks up and she stares up at the moon.
"I'm guessing you know." Regulus asks, watching her.
Anna hums, tilting. "What do you mean." Anna asks
Regulus turns towards the forbidden woods. Anna ohhhs. "Yeah, I guess I do, I saw the signs, how about you." Anna says
"Sirius, he's an idiot and is careless back home...he's an Animagus, I mean we don't have a dog so it was a bit confusing when there was a lot of dog hair on the couches. And I'm pretty smart. At first I was worried about who my brother was hanging out with until I connected the dots. It was pretty obvious then." Regulus says
"I've been around a lot of werewolves to see the signs, and they all act the same. I hated it, watching them in pain." Anna says
"Lycanthropy sucks. I'm grateful that I don't have to go through that." Regulus says
"Your a good brother, you know, not saying anything. I've known my fair share of assholes too know that not everyone can keep a secret, either it be of spite or plain stupidity." Anna says
Regulus chuckles. "I have a weird feeling they know I know, I started the rumor about them being furries." Regulus says
"Merlins robes! That was you! I mean I heard about that and I found it utterly hysterical. You are vicious. I have never seen James turn so red before when I brought it up." Anna says
Regulus laughs. "Oh trust me, when I announced it, they didn't come out of their dorms for a week. I never thought I can win one over them." Regulus says
Anna giggles.
"That's brilliant." Anna says
"Hey." Regulus says
Anna turns to him and she notices that he's holding out a pumpkin pasty. Anna brightens.
"Your amazing." Anna says, taking the offered pasty.
Regulus chuckles.
The two fall into a comfortable silence, looking out into the woods.
The two take notice how the sun was rising. "Wow, we spent all night up here." Regulus mumbles "sounds like a good night to me." Anna says, turning to look at Regulus.
Regulus smiles. "Thanks for being here with me." Regulus says "it's no problem, I enjoy your company." Anna says
"We're in different houses, rival houses, I would think you would avoid me." Regulus says "I never bought into that, no house is perfect." Anna says
"Thanks." Regulus says
Anna smiles.
....
Anna was walking towards the Gryffindor Common room when she spots the Marauders, holding up a bleeding Remus.
The four freeze as does Anna.
"Shit." Sirius breaths
Anna automatically falls into action and she runs up to their side, careful on where she's touching Remus.
"Peter run ahead and tell Pomfrey that we're on our way, come on guys." Anna barks
They all listen. Peter runs off.
....
"Okay why aren't you freaking out." James asks as they half drag Remus down the hall.
"I'm pretty observant, I pretty much found out on the week of the full moon, so I had time to adjust." Anna says
"If you know, it kind've worries me who else knows." Sirius says "don't worry, it's not because he's bad at hiding it, I've met a few werewolves to notice the signs." Anna says
"Damn, we really don't know anything about you." James says
