Anna was seated in a pale blue room. The couch she was on was a soft grey, in front of her was a white desk with a grey chair.
It was very boring.
Anna lightly taps her foot on the marble floor. The room wasn't what she expected for a therapist to use. She expected a more geometrical looking room with dark grays and wood.
Anna looks up as the door opens. "Sorry for the wait. I'm Doctor Xavier Grey. I'll be your counsler for the remaining of the year. Now Miss Snow, is there anything you'd like to tell me before we start." Grey asks
"I don't believe so, unless your waiting for me to admit that I am forever on the side of my war criminal father. And let's burn the ministry. Then no." Anna says sarcastically
Grey chuckles. "Don't worry Miss Grindelwald, I actually respect my job and despite what many may think, I'm not biased and I do not answer to the Ministry." Grey says, leaning back on the white chair.
"That's a load of shit." Anna says, making the man smirk. "I don't want you to feel uncomfortable to talk. I know that your not your father or your boyfriend." Grey says
"Does the ministry know that." Anna asks "they're learning, slowly but they are. I'm sorry that your privacy is a issue." Grey says, gently tapping his pen on his knee.
"Yeah me too." Anna says
"Now, tell me about Riddle, how was he like." Grey asks "wow, going straight for the good stuff." Anna says with a small smirk.
Grey chuckles. "Would you rather talk about your father then." Grey asks "not really, nor do I want to talk about the man I loved. I mean I guess I understand why people think I need therapy. But I'm only here so the Ministry can stop blackmailing the Headmaster." Anna says bluntly.
"Talk about going for the good stuff.....Miss Grindelwald, I understand that these topics are uncomfortable and touchy but our sessions will run long if you don't talk." Grey warns
"Fine. Riddle was the love of my life, he was kind and he was my boyfriend. It hurt and now I'm over over it." Anna says
Grey sighs, looking down at the file on his lap. "In my file it says that your a legilimens like your mother. Are you reading me now." Grey asks
Anna shakes her head. "It's an invasion of privacy, I tend to shut it off, why is there something I should know." Anna asks
Grey shakes his head. "No, thank you. But that's the first piece of truth you've told so far." Grey says
"How exactly do you know I'm telling the truth." Anna asks "I read people Miss Grindelwald, it's part of the job description." Grey says
"And I'm the mind reader." Anna snarks
Grey hums. "How has it been since you've woken up, any nightmares." Grey asks
Anna plays with her fingers, shaking her head. "No, all good there." Anna says
Grey writes something down. "I've heard that you've punched a kid." Grey says
Anna smiles at that. "Oh yes, Barty Crouch Jr, he had a really punchable face. A bit of a sprain wrist, but it was worth it. Crouch is a pig who thinks it's okay to degrade a girl." Anna says
"I've met the kid, and I'll have to agree with you there." Grey says
Anna chuckles. "Many say I'm lucky that he didn't press charges." Anna says "you are." Grey says, nodding.
"Nah, it wasn't luck, his father works for the Ministry if I'm correct....I have a feeling that he talked his son down, I mean who wants to lose their biggest threat before learning allllll her secrets." Anna says
"Your observant." Grey says
"Well I'd have to be, I mean I lived in the Grindelwald manor for 17 years, all I do is observe." Anna says
Grey continues to write in his notepad.
"What did your mother say about you punching the boy." Grey asks "I wouldn't know, I ignored her letters after the thousandth one." Anna says
"How about the incident in class with the paint, didn't your professor say she'll owl your mother." Grey asks
"Again, I wouldn't know." Anna says with a small shrugZ
"You shouldn't ignore your mother." Grey says "I may not hate her but that doesn't mean I forgive her. I mean who lets her daughter miss out half of her life." Anna says
"A Grindelwald follower." Grey says
Anna scoffs. "Of course, my mother walked through those blue flames but it's odd how she wasn't convicted for it, again I am very observant." Anna snarks, tilting her head.
"So you know about your mother's affiliation with Tina Goldstein." Grey asks
"I was four, not one. And I was quiet for a kid." Anna says
"Doesn't that change how you view your mother." Grey asks "no, because she let my father curse me. I mean I am no sleeping beauty, that's a bloody fairytale." Anna says, annoyed.
"But you slept like sleeping beauty, she was cursed just like you." Grey says "It's just a stupid book, I have nothing in common with a children's book. My father ruined my life and I don't even get my Prince Charming." Anna says
"So you hate your father." Grey asks "what the bloody hell do you think! Tell me! How would you feel if the person who is meant to protect you, who is meant to love you and show you kindness, how would you feel if that person ripped you of your life!! I was happy for once in my life! I was in love and I was ready to start my own life as a legal witch, and now here I am, starting my damn school year all over again!" Anna exclaims
"Thank you Annabelle, I believe we are done for today." Grey says, closing his notebook.
Anna huffs and she crosses her arms. "When is the next session." Anna asks, annoyed.
"Every few weeks." Grey says
"May I go then." Anna asks "not just yet, I have a project for you." Grey says, grabbing his bag.
Anna softly groans. "What is it." Anna asks
Grey pulls out a journal, her name was stitched onto the cover. Grey holds it out for her. "I want you to write a journal entry whenever your feeling down or depressed. I want you to release all those pent up emotions into this book. And don't worry, this is your book, I won't ask for it." Grey says
Anna sighs and she takes the leather book, tracing the spine.
"Now you may leave." Grey says
