"Annabelle." Queenie coos
Anna was curled up under her sheets, clutching at her pillow. She flinches when she feels a hand press over her shoulder.
Queenie sighs. She gently uncovers Anna and she prys the book from her daughters grip. "What happened to him." Anna croaks, her eyes heavy and red from tears.
"I'm so sorry sweetheart, but after you were put under, so much changed." Queenie says, her faces pulled into a small frown.
"How can he become such a monster, the boy I knew would never hurt an innocent child." Anna says, she closes her eyes tight, trying to banish away the the memories of him.
"Oh sweets thing....people do change." Queenie says

"Are you okay Miss Grindelwald." Xander asks
Anna was seated besides the fire of her fireplace, with a steaming cup of tea in her grasp, her eyes puffy. Anna sniffles and she nods.
"I'm fine...thank you Alexander." Anna says
"Would you like a pumpkin pasty." Alex asks, nervously, he slowly approaches her.
Anna gives him a small smile and she nods. "That'd be nice, thank you." Anna says, watching as the boy brightens and scampers off.

The room was softly lit, with a large piano fixated in the center, it was a beautiful dark wood, with a large design carved into the side. It was in perfect condition, left untouched but preserved from time.
"Here's the list you'll need for Hogwarts, it's the same as before and you know to go to Diagon alley, Hagrid will help you, you'll get a owl or a cat, or a toad if that's your preference. You'll get what you need there, and you'll start the next day." McGonagall says
Anna and McGonagall were seated in Anna's music room, both discussing the process for Anna. Anna was nodding, looking down at the list, there were a few changes but she could manage.
McGonagall kept looking up to stare at Anna, it was strange for the older Professor, Anna looked exactly the same since she last saw her, it broke her heart.
"Will I still be in Gryffindor." Anna ask "yes you will, you were put under a sleeping curse....nothing has changed, your still the same kind hearted girl you were in your sixth year." McGonagall says, she had a small smile on her lips.
Anna kept quiet, she wasn't the same girl when she was first sorted. "I guess your right...it's just unfair, having to start over. But you look the same just a little seasoned." Anna says softly.
McGonagall smiles. "I've lived a long life I suppose, and I hope you'll do the same." McGonagall says
"Me too." Anna whisper, playing with her fingers.
After a moment of silence, Mcgonagall clears her throat. Talking about Tom wasn't easy, especially because of the person he became. "I'm sorry about Tom, I know you loved him." McGonagall says "I did but I have to move on, he's no longer Tom, he's a monster." Anna says
"He'll always be Tom, Voldemort may be the product of him, but he can never take away the memories you had with Tom." Mcgonagall says
"I guess your right." Anna says
In a way, it's like Tom died when she did.
Mcgonagalls eyes were sad as she stares at the tearful girl. "That boy was so enamored with you, I know he would've done absolutely anything for you." Mcgonagall says, she had a small smile when she remembers a fond memory. "You two were especially adorable at the Yule ball, he had even asked me what color your dress was so he can match." Mcgonagall says
Anna laughs, with a smile plastered on her face. "He was always so sweet to me, whenever I was in a bad mood he would bring me all sorts of sweets, he hated it but he would never miss a day." Anna says
Mcgonagall takes Anna's hand in hers, looking Anna in the eye. "He was very devoted to you, even after you were gone, that had never changed." Mcgonagall says
The boy changed in so many ways, no longer was he the charming respectable boy he was in first year. He isolated himself, became meaner, angrier. She didn't tell Anna this, she knew it would break her, that she would blame herself for Voldemort.
Anna was silently playing with the lace of her dress. "He was always overprotective of me, but I never saw that as a problem, he wasn't controlling, he didn't control my every move, he was just a normal boyfriend, he was a bit prejudice and he did have his bad moments but with the Chamber of secrets and everything, a lot of people were tense and scared." Anna says
Mcgonagall darkens a bit. The petrification of muggleborns were terrifying. "Yes...those were dark times, and he was a hero." Mcgonagall says
"I still think it wasn't Hagrid, he's a big teddy bear, he wouldn't hurt a fly. But Tom did get upset with me when I pointed it out." Anna says, she didn't understand his hatred of Hagrid.
"Trust me, I raised concerns but Headmaster Dippet had the final say." Mcgonagall says
Anna sighs deeply.
"How is Hagrid by the way." Anna ask "the same, always looking at the bright side, he especially missed you, and when he heard you were back, Ohh he was absolutely thrilled and said he was going to bake you a cake!" Mcgonagall says, she had a happy smile on her face.
Anna smiles and she lets out a small happy laugh. "He always made the best treats, wasn't good on decorating them but they were amazing, has he gotten any better at decorating." Anna ask
"Oh dear no, but his baking has, his cookies are especially heavenly." Mcgonagall says, softly humming at the memory.
Anna giggles.
"I can't wait to see him, he had the warmest hugs, and how is Professor Slughorn, him and Tom were close." Anna asks, she knew she was badgering the professor, but she needed to know everything she had missed.
"He's stills the potions Professor, but he's doing well. He had took it hard, the loss, he believed that he failed you. He assumed you dropped out." Mcgonagall says remorsefully.
"Poor lad, I would take it hard as well, but it's not his fault, he's an excellent teacher." Anna says
"Well he was joyous when he heard of your return." Mcgonagall says
Anna smiles.
"All this talk has made me excited to return. I absolutely can't wait." Anna says, gushing proudly. Mcgonagall laughs. "Me too. I had always wondered what profession you would take." Mcgonagall ask
"I always had an eye on being a Dragon tamer, but don't tell mother, working with dragons has always fascinated me." Anna says
"I truly see that for you, you have a fire in you Annabelle, one, no one can put out." Mcgonagall says
