i sat in my last period bored out of my mind. this day has been going so mf slow and i'm ready to leave. "psst" i heard daijon so i turned facing him. "what nigga?" i asked.

"why can't you ever just be nice?" he chuckles. i shrug "because y'all get on my nerves now what you want?" i asked again. "melo told me sum..." he smirked. i already knew where this was going. "yea what?" i said acting like i ain't already know what he was finna say. "so what y'all just wasn't gone tell nobody you fucking wit eachother now?" he crossed his arms leaning back into his chair.

i rolled my eyes laughing "it ain't y'all business leave me alone". i mean i hadn't told airi yet either i don't know why he thought he was special. it's literally been 2 days.

"nahh y'all thought u was slick huh?" he teased. i smacked my lips "goodbye daijon" i shook my head laughing hearing the last bell ring. i made my way to the gym finding the girls ready to start. i quickly change in the locker room walking out. "okay y'all so as you know we have a home game tomorrow so we will be basically serving them dumb ass football players, mr.west says makes sure your on time tomorrow and wear your practice uniforms for the school day" i said. they all groan nodding.

"hey ain't my rules i don't wanna do this shit either" i laugh. "any questions?" i ask. ashley immediately raises her hand making me roll my eyes. "yes ashley?" i fakely smile. "as co-captain shouldn't i be the one starting the chants" she asks. "no that's airi's job" i say. she rolls her eyes. "nobody wanna hear your annoying ass voice anyways" airi mumbles making us all laugh.

"okay let's run some drills!" i said letting everyone get up and start running warm ups.

it was around 4pm and we had just finished up with practice, and i was super exhausted. airi and i were going to grab food then chill at my house. "i literally hate football season so much" i complained getting into the drivers seat.

"girl same basketball season is way more chill and fun" she says. i saw melo and daijon walking to melo's car so i opened my window. "aye where y'all bout to go!" i hollered getting their attention. melo smiles seeing me walking over "probably 24 then chill at the crib" he leans down onto into my window. i nodded "why you tryna come?" he smirks. i rolled my eyes this nigga think i wanna be up under him all day long.

"no i need a break from your annoying ass" i joked. he smacked lips, his gaze shifted to airi and he looked her up and down. "wassup airi?" he said. "hey melo" she smiles slightly blushing. it lowkey irritated me but i mean he's not my nigga so i couldn't get mad, it's not like i told her we chilling or whatever now. "ight we leaving" i say moving him off the ledge. i pulled out of the parking lot driving to del taco. we quickly picked up our food heading back to my house.

we started eating but i just felt the sudden urge to ask her about melo. i mean she's told me before she had no interest in him but they always have their little moments and i didn't want to get in between that. i really am not in the mood to loose another friend over a nigga.

"Can I ask you sum?" i say sipping my drink.  "Yea wassup boo?"she looks up from the tv.  "Do you like actually like melo?" i asked hoping in my mind she said no. "Girl what hell nah" she laughs. "Good I was worried I was not tryna lose another friend"i laugh along with her. "is y'all asses finally talking?" She smirks poking my side. i blush nodding "ohh purrrrrrr" airi yells dancing around the room. "Finally damn y'all had us all out here irritated you wouldn't just get with eachother" she laughs. "Man cause I wasn't even looking at his dumbass at first but I don't know times change I guess" i shrugged turning my attention back to the tv.

about 3 hours had passed and i was getting kinda bored.

my phone starts ringing melos name flashing on it. i answer on the third ring seeing his face appear, he looked like he was in the car.
