Everybody in the living room chilling it was only like 5 nini and airi stood up grabbing they stuff "where y'all going?" Daij asked "to mines I'm bouta take a nap" she said I put my hand on my chest acting hurt "you finna take a nap without me?" I asked "yea nigga I'm wit prime we can't be doing that no more" she plainly said like we ain't been doing that since we was 6 and now she wanna stop because she got a nigga but when I had a girl she wanted to fight her for making us stop doing that

"Your a hypocrite" I mumble she looks at me wit sad eyes because I dead just said I would be nice to her bout prime but when she tryna act different obviously I'm not gone be cool about it "come on then but if these niggas trash ya crib it ain't my fault" she says "nah I'm not even tired" I say she looks at me like nigga really "okay then why was you tryna complain" she asked crossing her arms I shrug "you just love to piss me off" she rolls her eyes leaving wit airi

I got a text from Ashley to come over her house "aye y'all gotta go" I say standing up she ain't gotta tell me twice they all look at me and bust out laughing "nigga who you bout to go fuck?" Daij asked I laugh dapping him up "that ain't yo business just know im hitting that shit good" I laugh "ayeee thats my son" quan hyped me "ite for real tho y'all gotta go" I say quan smacks his lips "wow you really gone choose that hoe Ashley over ya boys?" He says I froze "who said it was Ashley?" I ask "nigga we all know you fucking her you know she got a big ass mouth she done told everybody and they momma" Daij chimes in I sigh if nini finds out I'm dead

"Nini know?" Daij asks I shake my head no "you better end that shit before she do because you know they've had beef forever remember when nini beat her ass last year and almost got expelled?" He says I nod "you forget the reason why Ashley spoke about her father Melo you disrespectful for fucking wit Ashley y'all supposed to be best friends" quan shakes his head at me obviously pissed "quan shut the fuck up you just mad she don't fuck wit you like you thought she did" I say he rolls his eyes "we not gone get nun thru his dumb ass head so just give up bro" will says patting quan's shoulder

"Mane what-" I was cut off by my phone dinging it was Ashley asking if I was still coming I sighed "at least realize what you getting yo self into when nini find out you know she will they cheer together you walking right into a trap" Daij says they all got up walking out I lock the door pulling out my driveway zooming to her house i thought about just turning around but I already found myself turning into her street

The door swung open as soon as I was bout to knock "hey come in nobody here" she smirks grabbing my hand guiding me upstairs she pushed me on the bed closing the door locking it

Nini POV

I got home I dropped airi off at her house I wasn't actually going to nap I was going to jalen's because I know his ass is mad at me for no reason I pulled up on the curb seeing niah coming out of jalen's house which I mean isn't weird cause they cool and they neighbors but airi said she had a family emergency

I just let it go instead of assuming sum that probably ain't even true I knock twice he opens "wassup baby didn't know you was coming" he says he was shirtless and low key sweaty I didn't think anything of it "yeah yo text earlier seemed like you was pissed so I came to see what's up" I say following him upstairs into his room

His bed was a mess he quickly tries to fix it changing his sheets I just looked at him confused because he was acting all types of weird right now wouldn't look me in my eye or nun "you okay j?" I ask his head snapped towards me "yea why wouldn't I be" he quickly says I just let it go sitting on his bed letting him go take a shower he came out wit a towel wrapped around his waist going through his closet changing getting in bed next to me

"What was niah here for?" I ask "she had to grab something real quick" he shrugged "okay so why you send me that text earlier acting all mad and shit" I ask he pulls me down to lay next to him

"I wasn't mad you just always be wit Melo anybody in my situation would assume that y'all talking on the low" he said I sucked my teeth "J baby we've always been close you know that he's my best friend" I say he sighs "yea I know I just can't help it" he says "you have no reason not to trust me j" I say wit an attitude because he make no sense "I know I'm sorry" he says if this becomes a reoccurring problem between us this relationship ain't gone work I can already feel it
