We got back to the warehouse and I saw more people inside and outside staring at me. I shrink under their gaze, trying to hide my face. Tony sees and glares at them, moving next to me, blocking their view of me. We make it inside and Tony leads me to conference looking room and has me sit down in a chair.
"What kind of bender are you?" He goes back to his question from earlier
"I can bend or control the 4 elements, water, fire, earth and air" I reply, taking off my mask and putting it in my pocket
"You're the Avatar" Peter interjects
I nod.
"What planet are you from?" Tony asks
"Xena"
"I've heard about that one. It's filled with beautiful forests and waterfalls" Peter says again
"It was until my neighboring planet, Galileo, declared war on us" I explain, looking at my hands
"I'm sorry" Peter apologises
"It's fine" I reply quietly
"Have you mastered your skills?" Tony changes the subject
"For the most part yeah, but I have trouble with controling them when I'm scared"
"What about when you're mad?" Peter asks
"Lets just say that you dont wanna be in the room"
"Are there other branches of one element?" Tony asks
"What do you mean?" I ask, knitting my eyebrows
"Like, waterbending has healing powers, are there others with the other elements?" He explains
"Well, fire has lighting, water has healing and bloodbending, earth has metalbending and lavabending, and air has gliding"
"I've read that a bender comes from one element, whats yours?" Peter asks
"I was born into fire and had to travel to different parts of my planet to train for the others"
"How did you know you were the Avatar?" Peter asks again
"After I had mastered fire, I realized I could water bend and trained myself from the waterfalls by my house"
"That is so cool" he mumbles
I chuckle and look at the window and see people gathering outside, trying to see me. I smirk and flick my wrist, causing a blast of air to make a loud bang against the glass, scaring the bystanders. They run away quickly, making me giggle.
Tony looks at me and chuckles to himself.
"Is that what you do when people bother you?" He asks, still chuckling
"Pretty much yeah. So why am I here?" I ask
"I want you to be apart of this team"
"Why?"
"To help the world"
"Ok. When do I start?"
"Right now" he says, standing up and walking out of the room, leaving me and Peter confused
I get up and follow Tony to another part of the, very nice might I add, building that looks like a sleeping quarters. I was so distracted by the awe of the features and construction of the place that I didn't realize we had stopped walking and were standing in a very pretty room.
"Where are we?" I ask looking around
"Your new room" Tony chuckles, watching me
"You're kidding. Seriously?" I gasp
