Tony had told me the night before that he was going to help me with the other parts of the elements. He told me to pick out movable clothes and to meet with him and Peter. I chose a pair of leggings and a crop tank top, putting my hair in a bun and walking out to find the guys.
I saw Bucky talking with another man, who was rather buff.
How many people live here? I think.
Bucky saw me and motioned me to come over.
"Izzy, this is Steve" he introduces me to the man
"Hi" I say tiredly
Steve smiles.
"Hey sweetheart"
"Where are Tony and Peter?" I ask Bucky
"Probably in the gym, I'll take you"
He takes my hand and leads me to the gym, Steve following. We get there and I see Peter walking into the room with a bag.
"God I hate this already" I groan, letting go of Buckys hand and following Peter inside
"How long has she been here?" Steve asks Bucky
"A couple weeks and Tony seems to have taken a liking to her" Bucky adds
"Well I like her, she seems sweet"
"You should have seen her when Arrowhead insulted her planet" Bucky laughs
"He did not" Steve says shocked
"Oh do I have the story for you"
They walk off, talking about what happened, leaving me with Tony and Peter. I yawn and rub my eyes.
"Did you really need to wake me up at 7 in the morning?" I ask
"I wanted to" Peter smirks
"I will blast you into that wall, Parker" I hiss
"Hey, behave" Tony scolds us
"So what are we gonna do?" I ask
"What do you need to work on?" Tony asks me
"Lightning" I reply
"How do you start?" Peter asks
I bring my index fingers and middle fingers together on each hand and slowly start to move them in a circle around eachother. A few seconds go by and a spark starts to appear, flowing with and around my pointed fingers.
Tony and Peter watch in amazement as I lunge back and push my arm forward, releasing the bolt into the air, making it crackle and create a bright blue light.
After the light had dissolved, I let my arms down and let them hang by my sides. Peter and Tony's mouths were hanging open, watching me.
"You need help with that?" Peter asks
"I need to lose the amount of time it takes for the bolt to hit its target. It has to be faster" I explain
"Ok, lets start" Tony says
We continue to train for 2 hours, switching on and off from training with lightning and 1 to 1 combat. I was fighting with Peter, and winning, when Bucky walked in with Steve just as I tripped and pushed Peter on his back on the floor.
"I win" I giggle
"Whatever" Peter mumbles, standing up
"Whats up Bucky, hey Steve" I say, looking at them
"How's training going" Bucky asks, chuckling at Peter who was rubbing his back, glaring at me
"I think it went good" Tony said, walking towards us from where he was standing
"Easy for you to say" Peter groans
I chuckle at him.
"I saw you make that lightning, Izzy. That was remarkable" Steve admires
"Thank you" I say
"What do you guys want?" Peter asks
"Natasha and Wanda are here" Steve says
"More people? God how many of you are there?" I groan
"Come on" Peter grabs my hand, pulling me with him
I sigh and let him pull me. We walk into a room that the two women were in. They turn and smile at me.
"Hey, you must be Izzy!" One of them say
"Uh, yeah, and you are?" I ask chuckling
"I'm Wanda, and this is Natasha" Wanda motions to herself and the women next to her
"I like your hair" I compliment her
"Thanks. You're not to bad yourself" Natasha smirks, looking me up and down
"I like her" I say, looking back at Bucky, making him chuckle and shake his head
"So you're the Avatar?" Natasha asks
"Pretty much"
"Cool" she mutters
I laugh as Clint walks in, seeing all of us talking and walks over.
"I see you're making new friends" he tells me
"Go away, Feathers" I groan
"Just for that, I think I'll stay right here" he says, leaning on a wall
I roll my eyes and walk the other way out of the room, Peter following me. Natasha watches me leave and turns back to Clint.
"She already hates you" she chuckles at him
"So?"
"Do you have any idea what an Avatar can do when mad?" She asks in disbelief
"Should I?"
"You're gonna find out soon" she smirks, walking out as well, followed by Wanda
"Whatever" Clint dismisses her, walking the other way
"Does he have to live here?" Steve whines
"I want to kick him out but he won't leave" Tony says, standing in the doorway
"She's gonna kill him" Bucky sighs
"Yep" Tony agrees, walking after me and Peter
I was laying on my bed, playing with Peter's hair, who was laying on my stomache when Tony walked in.
I quickly push Peter off of me, him doing the same. Tony narrows his eyes at us.
"What did I tell you two about touching?" He says
"You're not my dad, you know" I argue
He continues to narrow his eyes at me and Peter shrinks, trying to make himself as small as possible. I stare right back at him, watching him as he leaves.
He walked to the rest of the team, a scowl on his face.
"What?" Steve asks him
"I caught Peter and Izzy cuddling together" Tony says annoyed
"We all know you see her as a daughter but she's been here almost a month, he's her best friend, give her a break Stark" Bucky chuckles and rolls his eyes.
Tony glares at him as Steve walks towards my room. He slowly opens the door and sees me peacefully sleeping, and Peter, also sleeping, pulling me into his chest, my back towards the door. Steve smiles and chuckles quietly to himself, shutting the door behind him.
He walks back to the rest of the team and leans on the doorframe.
"They're sleeping" he says quietly
"Together?" Tony asks smugly
"Yes actually"
"Wait what" Tony turns around, wide eyed
Steve just smirks and walks out, not saying a word. Tony stutters and speeds after him, making Bucky laugh again and walk to his room for the night.
