-Sarah-

I scroll through the iTunes app on the phone, searching for anything new. Loki lays down next to me on the bed, we are both on our stomachs looking at the screen. I tap on the search bar and start typing in one of the most classic songs I know. The OG, the classic, the forever relevant, Party in the USA by Miley Cyrus. The song pops up at the top of the results.

"What is that?" Loki asks. I look at him, eyes wide in disbelief.

"You mean you have never heard Party in the USA?!" I almost screech at him.

"Uh...no." He answers. I shake my head and download the song.

"Here, listen," I instruct as I press play on the song and search for more songs.

As the song plays I lip-sync and bop my head all while downloading a few other songs in the process.

The song ends and I look over at Loki to see if he liked it. He just looks over at me, confused.

"I don't get it," Loki admits. I groan and roll my eyes.

"It has no story." He adds.

"Are you kidding?! Of course, it has a story! It's all about this girl who moved to Las Angeles, she's nervous and homesick, but music helps her! Plus not to mention it is the most classic song EVER!" I explain enthusiastically. I look at Loki to see an amused expression on his face.

"What?!" I ask. Does he find the fact that he makes me frustrated amusing? Cause it's not! It's annoying. How does someone dream about ruling over 9 realms their whole life, yet know nothing about them? Or at least know nothing about Earth, er I mean Midgard.

"Nothing. It's just amusing how passionate you are about this song." Loki teases. I roll my eyes yet again, trying to hide the blush creeping onto my cheeks.

"Ok, fine, whatever. What about you? What music do you like?" I ask.

"I uh...don't really know." He answers, looking at me confused. I shuffle closer to him so he can see the screen as I pull up the genres given in the iTunes app.

"Ok, so we have pop/contemporary, which is more what I like. Then there is Country, you wouldn't like that. There is Jazz, I mean I can add some jazz if you want, but I prefer music with more words, not so slow. There are songs from musicals, you probably wouldn't like that either. Some of them are good though." I pause and look at him, waiting for his answer. I don't want to go over every single genre of music, that would take forever.

"Well I guess that song wasn't entirely repulsive...what is in that category?" Loki asks, pointing to the pop/contemporary section. I tap on it excitedly.

"You know what, just explore the songs a bit. If you tap on it here," I explain, taping on the picture my a song, "Then the song will play for a bit. Just find what you like." I hand Loki the phone. He hesitantly taps on a random song and the melody to don't stop believing starts to play. I see his face scrunch up at the sound as he taps for it to stop. I laugh at his reaction. I personally like that song, but it definitely didn't seem like his thing.

After a good 30 minutes of hearing songs play and then get paused, I walk back over to the bed and lay down like I was before.

"Ok, find anything good?" I ask.

"Eh. Your music is weird." Loki states, handing the phone back to me. I laugh.

"If only you knew how weird Asgardian things are to humans." I joke.

"If you don't have any songs to add I'll just have to make a playlist of my songs, and you can't complain because I gave you a chance," I say, adding a few more songs to the playlist. Loki groans next to me and stands up.

"Fine," he says, walking over to his bookshelf. I watch him and can't stop but think how uncomfortable that armor looks. How does he wear that so much? It's definitely...unique.

"Why do you wear that all the time?" I ask, saving the changes to the playlist and turning off my phone. Loki looks over at me confused.

"Wear what?" I sit up on the bed and motion towards his armor.

"That. The armor. It looks so uncomfortable." I answer. Loki looks down at his armor and laughs at my statement.

"It's what I always wear darling. I'm used to it." He answers. I find myself repeating "darling" in my head. Why did I find it so attractive when he called me that?

"Have you ever tried, I don't know...human clothes?" I suggest. Seriously it would be so much better if he looked somewhat normal. I can't help but feel awkward that I am still wearing the pajamas he gave me on the first night.

"Why would I want to do that?" He questions.

"I promise it's so much more comfortable." He looks at me, questioning my suggestion.

"Oh, come on. You don't have to wear armor, you're a prisoner." I say. Loki sighs in defeat.

"Fine. But I'm not promising I'll keep it on." He agrees. I smile, excited to see his reaction to human clothes. It's almost like he's a grumpy child when it comes to human things. I find it amusing.

Loki thinks for a second before snapping his fingers. A green fog surrounds his body but quickly retreats, revealing Loki once again. I contemplate his choice, black rather dressy pants with a belt, and a silky emerald green button-up shirt. The shirt resembles ones you would see on hot dancers, usually to a tango. He even wears it so the top three buttons are undone, revealing a good portion of his pecks. I force myself to look away, worried he will catch me staring.

"What do you think?" I ask as I stand up and walk to him. Loki looks down at himself and straightens the cuffs on his sleeves.

"It's interesting. It is more comfortable though." I smile at my success.

"Now we just need you to match..." Loki adds. I look at him confused, but before I can ask what he means he snaps his fingers again.

The green smoke comes and goes and I look down at myself.

I gasp at the sight of the beautiful dress I am now wearing. It has the matching silk shine of Loki's shirt, the satin is a deep emerald green also matching the color of Loki's shirts. It has a sleek v-neck with spaghetti straps. The top fits perfectly with a loose appearance then fitting at my waist. From there the skirt drapes to the floor with a single slit going up my left side and stopping high up my thigh. I stick my foot out from under the dress to see a pair of black heels.

"Wow, it's beautiful..." I say. I look up at Loki. I am still in shock by his actions. I don't know what to make of it.

"Yeah..." I hear Loki say, almost in a whisper.

"I um...thank you." I finally say. I have no idea what else I'm supposed to say to that. It was so random. And now that I think about it. Really sweet.
