*Author's Note*-Things are about to get intense so be ready. I have lots planned and I'm so excited. Also, the events that occur during this chapter are a completely original idea, plus a bit of reference to Norse Mythology. Please enjoy!

The team and I, plus Valkyrie, arrive at Norse Sciences, the laboratory we are investigating. We're all in our uniforms and are on the prowl for anything unusual or suspicious.

"Find anything yet?" Cap asks over coms.

"Not yet," Stark responds.

"How about anyone? Seriously, where is everybody?" I ask.

"I agree, something's wrong." Natasha points out, glancing at the security cameras hung on the wall. "We need to find the surveillance room."

"Good idea, Sarah with Valkyrie to inspect the labs, Natasha will go to security, the rest of us will continue to search for people," Cap instructs.

Val and I break away from the group to go to the large laboratory. As we enter we don't see a whole lot of lab equipment, in fact, most of it is storage and documents. We both exchange a glance before continuing. I look over the documents and Valkyrie looks into the storage containers.

I read over the first document,

Hildr, born 120BC, Asgard

-Valkyrie-

Current residence: Vanahiem

Vanaheim Aelius: Heldin

Date found: 1933 November, 14th

(End of File)

I scavenge through the other files and every single one is on a Valkyrie. This is no lab. Why do they have all these documents of the Valkyrie?

"Sarah...come over here," Val says as she looks into a couple of large crates. I walk over and look inside the first crate to find it full of large feathers, each different from the rest. I notice the sharp pointed edges on the tips of the feathers and pick one up cautiously.

"Are these..." I start.

"Valkyrie feathers, from their wings." Val finishes. Why? How? "It appears that they are collecting them." I notice the dangerously pale shade her face is.

"There are files over here on Valkyrie, stating a date they were found. Why would they be lost?" I ask.

"They weren't, they were hiding. After Odin ordered the Valkyrie to take down Hela, leading in the slaughter of my people, there must have been others that survived and fled. The Valkyrie were once devoted to Hela, she was once considered our queen until Odin ordered us to kill her, and for the good of Asgard we had no choice."

"Who's Hela?" I ask.

"Hela is the goddess of death, Odin's firstborn."

"What? I thought Thor was Odin's firstborn?" I say, baffled.

"Odin has many lies, his daughter Hela was no doubt one of his worst."

"Do Loki and Thor know they have or had a sister?" I ask.

"No, we were all under oath not to tell them, as a Valkyrie we swore our lives on it. And you mustn't either. Odin would have the head of anyone who told them. They will find out before Odin dies and only then." I don't want to keep secrets for Loki, or Thor, but this seems to be coming from a higher power, meaning I have no choice. "You must swear on your life that you will not tell them," Val says.

"I do not like this, but I will not tell them," I say, sighing in defeat.

"Good," Val says as she opens another crate. We both peer inside to see an array of dragon fang blades.
