Sangwoo didn't wake up from his sleep, doctors were surprised he even made it.

He had internal bleeding, skull fracture, head and Nick injuries, whiplash, fractured ribs, fractured bones in right arm and right leg,concussions, dislocated bones and serious bruises, he had gone through several operations.

Mela had a harsh breakdown when the doctors told her That there's a chance Sangwoo may not wake up again and if he does, the way his brain functions will change as well as the brain's ability to handle information and process emotions. And will likely to suffer from Mental - traumatic Stress Disorder.

Mela never left his side, she saw her injury was nothing at all compared to Sangwoos. And she saw that if it wasn't for her Sangwoo would have been perfectly safe and sound by now.

Nick tried to calm her down and was there by her side as well as his mother, Barbra, Dan, Kim and Jieun. They visited him a lot and tried to calm Mela who constantly sobbed and cried.

It has been 3 months, and Mela was getting ...
Desperate ... she cried less but at the times she didn't cry at, she would be scary ... more like a living corpse, depressed, she didn't eat nor drink nor sleep properly.

Dan and Barbra forced her to go home one day literally dragging her out of Sangwoos room just to let her have a little break. When they hit her home she didn't rest. She prepared a room for Sangwoo cleaned it, vacuumed it,organized it, placed sangwoos clothes in the closet, bought some of his books, changed the decor to be more like his room, bought his perfumes, watches, combs, hairdryer, toothbrush, towels, bathrobe, his shampoos and loofah.

When Dan and Barbra asked her why she told them it was for Sangwoo when he wakes up.

Mela sold all her paintings that she painted through her life to afford the expenses of Sangwoos operations and nights at the hospital.

At the hospital Mela would massage his muscles everyday and perfume him his favorite perfumes, she would bath him after his operation wound was recovered, she would brush his hair and shave his beard.

She would hug him and play with his hair as she close her eyes and lean her head beside his.

If she could talk she would sing for him and talk to him, she would play his favorite songs that he loved to listen to in the car, she would play his video singing fly me to the moon from that time at the karaoke. She would play videos of KoKo meowing for him to listen to.

She would try to sleep holding his hand only to end up breaking down wishing he would hold hers back. She was going through a hard trauma, she couldn't stand seeing him like this anymore.

By time Everyone stooped visiting the way they did before, they visited less. And they couldn't be blamed, everyone life had to go on, they had their own life to live as well. Dan and Barbra started looking for jobs, Nick's Matches continued in and outside the country as he joined the local basketball team. Jieun had been hired in her fathers company and Kim worked in a gas station.

In short ... everyone's lives continued on except for Mela who's life stopped when sangwoos life did. She didn't draw, eat, drink, sleep, laugh, (talk), like she did before, she dedicated all her time for Sangwoo and only Sangwoo.

Who could hear her ... felt her ... smelled her ...
