Cotillion

Jeanie opened her door to find Jay standing there, dressed in the suit Evie made for him, 

"Wow,"He said, looking at Jeanie in her dress. 

"Where's Carlos,"Jeanie asked. 

"He asked Jane to go with him so they're headed over there together,"Jay said,"Is Mal already gone with Ben?"

"Yeah I think so,"Jeanie said,"And Evie just left with Doug."

"Jeanie, can we please talk,"Jay asked. 

Jeanie sighed and stepped aside so Jay could walk into the room. 

"Look, Jay,"Jeanie started. 

"Wait,"Jay said,"Let me go first."

Jeanie nodded and Jay continued. 

"I understand if you don't like me and just want to stay friends,"Jay said,"And I'm sorry if I made things akward between us. Jeanie, I really like you, but if you don't want to be more than friends then that's fine with me."

"I like you too,"Jeanie blurted. 

"You do,"Jay asked. 

"Yeah,"Jeanie said,"But it's complicated."

"What do you mean,"Jay asked, reaching out to grab her hand. 

This time Jeanie didn't run away. 

"Jay, I figured out who my parents are,"Jeanie said,"They're Jasmine and Aladdin."

She didn't look up. 

"Jeanie, look at me,"Jay said. 

Jeanie looked up at him. 

"That doesn't matter,"Jay said,"I'm not my father Jeanie."

"I know,"Jeanie said,"But I was scared to tell you."

"Thank you for telling me,"Jay said. 

"I don't know how to do this,"Jeanie said. 

"That's okay,"Jay said,"Neither do I. But we can figure it out together okay."

"Okay,"Jeanie said,"I'd like that."

"Jeanie, will you go to Cotillion with me,"Jay asked. 

Jeanie smiled,"I'd love to."

Jeanie and Jay arrived at Cotillion, finding Evie and Doug, Carlos and Jane.

They also greeted Eli and Lonnie before Mal entered and they started clapping. 

Then Ben, and then Uma. 

Jay was holding Jeanie back from decking Ben.

"Not too thrilled I risked my life for him,"Carlos said. 

"We're with you Mal,"Lonnie said. 

"Let's get out of here,"Jay said. 

Mal nodded, Evie linking arms with her and leading. 

Doug, Jane, Carlos, Lonnie, Jay, Jeanie, and Eli all followed after her.

"Lumiere, unveil the gift,"Jane said,"They need to see it!"

"And now for the unveiling of King Ben's masterpiece,designed especiallyfor his lady."

Two gaurds pulled down the cloth covering a stained glass of Mal and Ben.

"Ben did that,"Mal asked.

"Yeah, he did,"Jeanie said.

"Ben's known who I was all along,"Mal said.

"He loves the real you, M,"Evie said. 

"Cover that back up,"Uma demanded.

"I will not!"

"Um, uh-- why don't you tell everyone the present you have for me, Ben,"Uma said.

"I have an announcement,"Ben said,"Uma will be joining the court tonight as my lady."

"Son,"Beast started.

"Not now, Dad,"Ben shouted. 

"So as my gift to her, I'm bringing down the barrier once and for all,"Ben continued,"Fairy Godmother. Bring down the barrier."

"I most certainly will not,"Fairy Godmother said.

"I am your king,"Ben demanded.

"Obey him,"Uma said.

"Ben's been spelled,"Mal said.

"Uma found your spellbook,"Jeanie said.

Mal rushed down the stairs to Ben and Uma.

"Just look at me. Ben,"Mal said,"Ben. Look at me."

"No, look at me,"Uma said,"You love me, remember?"

"No, you don't,"Mal said. 

"Yes, you do,"Uma said.

"Ben, look at me,"Mal said.

"Bring down the barrier now,"Uma shouted.

"I do not take orders from you,"Fairy Godmother said.

"Ben, I never told you that I loved you because I thought that I wasn't good enough,"Mal said,"And I thought that it was onlya matter of time before you realized that yourself. But, Ben, that's me! I'm part Isle and part Auradon. And, Ben, you've always known who we were and who we can be."

"Don't listen to her,"Uma said.

"Ben, I know what love feels like now. Ben, of course I love you. Ben, I've always loved you,"Mal finished before kissing him.

When she pulled back Ben was smiling at her.

"True love's kiss,"Evie said,"Works every time."

Uma had jumped overboard, turned into her half octapus self leading Mal to turn into her dragon form, and Ben having to intervene. 

Uma swam back towards the Isle and then Mal transformed back. 

"I owe you guys so much,"Ben said,"If there is anything that you need, or anything I can do for you..."

"Actually, um...Ben, there's a lot of kids who would really love it here in Auradon,"Evie said,"Kids just like us, who also deserve a second chance. Can I maybe get you a list?"

"Absolutely, please,"Ben said.

"M'lady Mal, we found your spell book below deck. Uma had it."

"You know, this seems like the kind of thing that belongs in the hands of Fairy Godmother,"Mal said,"Fairy Godmother?"

"That's me, thank you,"Fairy Godmother said walking over to them.

"This belongs in the museum,"Mal said, holding out her spellbook.

"It does, yes, and I'm gonna take it,"Fairy Godmother said taking the spellbook.

She walked away and Mal said,"I'm not gonna be needing it anymore."
