Avengers Guarded

Ch. 2 "Repair"

                                                    Cody POV 

After dragging a very heavy Tony Stark into a shopping cart and taking him into my hideout, which is an abandoned warehouse, 

I use the basement as my hideout, 

I laid him on the metal table, I brought down the giant magnified scope, looking at the arc Reactor, it is certainly impressive, 

I remove the plate, and see the sparks, I put a pair of gloves on, and put my hand inside of his chest, trying to find the problem, 

Mr Stark groaned as I was finishing up,  I had my hand in his arc Reactor fixing the problem, turns out one of the wires were sparking, so I'm splicing it and fixing, 

Tony's eyes opened slowly, He looked at me with wide eyes as I was concentrating on fixing him, he went to sit up, but I pushed him back down, 

"lay still, unless you want a shock to the system," I said he looked where my other hand was, 

"What are you doing?" He said 

"Seems like whatever hit you nicked a wire," I said in an emotionless tone, 

Tony looked around the room, I grabbed a tool to fuse the wires, 

"Are you sure you should be doing this, I mean what are you in junior high?" He said 

"Collage actually," I said blankly

"Really?" He said sounding surprised, 

"How old are you?" He asked 

"Thirteen," I said 

I sat the tool on the table beside me, and put the plate over the reactor, 

"That should do it," I said taking my gloves off, pushing the the magnified, scope up, 

He sat up, tapping the Arc Reactor, 

"I didn't tamper with it, if that's what your thinking," I said throwing away my gloves, 

"Didn't say you did kid," He said 

"I'll show you out," I said 

I walked up the stairs, as he followed me, 

"So you got a name?" He asked 

"Cody," I said 

"Well thank you Cody for saving me," He said 

I nodded we walked out of the warehouse, 

"It's been a pleasure Mr. Stark," I said 

He paused 

I didn't wait for him to respond I just walked back in the warehouse, 

                                           Tony POV 

I was going to bid the kid farewell, 

"It's been a pleasure Mr. Stark," She said 

I swear I almost choked on my own air supply,

She walked back into the warehouse I just shook my head and flew back to the tower, once I got back to the tower, I looked in the mirror at the arc Reactor, 

Kid did an impressive job, I thought, I took the elevator back to the main floor, 

"Tony god we've been worried sick about you!" Nat said 

"I'm fine," I said 

I need to figure out who the hell she is, I thought 

I looked at the avengers and told them what happened, 

"She seems smart," Bruce said 

I nodded, 

"She said her name was Cody," I said 

"Did you get a last name?" Steve said 

I shook my head no, 

"Well I guess it's up to us to figure that out," Clint said
