Avengers Guarded

Ch. 24 "Study"

                                         Cody POV 

I was in my room, I sat at my desk, my crutches nearby, it was around 3AM, I was studying for this exam, 

If I didn't pass it would not be good for me, and I would be damned if I let this little incident break my straight A's, 

I yawned stretching my arms above my head, 

"Coffee, need coffee," i mumbled 

I scooted back making the legs of chair screech on the wood flood, 

I grab my crutches and walk out of the room trying not to wake Tony or Pepper, 

I make my way to the kitchen, trying to be as quiet as possible, 

"Now, if I was a billionaire where would I keep the coffee?" I mumbled as I looked through the cabinets, 

Finally I found it, 

"Finally.." I mumbled 

I grabbed the coffee, 

I put the grounds in the coffee pot and started it, 

I know I shouldn't have coffee, due to being diabetic but it's a one time thing, I thought 

After the coffee was done brewing, I poured a some in a cup and hobbled back to my room, 

I sat at the desk, my elbow on the desk, my chin in my hand as I studied, 

I went to drink my coffee and it was empty, 

Must have been so focused that I didn't realize that I drank the entire cup, I looked at the clock, it was 10AM, 

I hobbled out of the room, on my way to the library on the Avenger's floor I grabbed and apple, I hit the button and hobbled past the living room, 

"Cody how-" Sam began 

"You look like crap," He said 

I rolled my eyes, 

"Thank's that's what every girl wants to hear," I said which caused Tony to almost spit out his coffee, 

I hobbled past the lab, past some of the avenger's room's, then finally made it to the library, 

I set my bag down on the floor, I settle in on the couch, setting my crutches nearby, 

and I start to read, well study, 

I let out a loud yawn, but shook it off, 

"There you are," I heard 

I look up and see Peter, 

"Hey," I said yawning again, 

"You look tired," He said sitting near me, 

"Price for being smart," I said smiling at him, 

"You stayed up all night again didn't you," He said 

"Why ask questions you already know the answers to," I saddled 

He laughed 

"So I need a favor," He asked 

I looked at him arching my brow,
