Ch. 21 "Skill"

                                          Cody POV 

It was dinner they prepared food that I can eat and drink so that is a plus, 

"So Cody have you always lived where you live now?" Pepper asked 

"No I was born in Manhattan, Then we moved to the bronx then Brooklyn," I said 

"Why did you guys bounce around so much?" Tony asked confused 

"Well we lived in Manhattan until I was seven but when my mom met Denis we moved a lot because of him bouncing jobs," I said rolling my eyes, 

"Don't know what she saw in him, guy couldn't tell carburetor to a car compactor," I said taking a sip of water, 

Tony had to put his hand on his mouth, trying not to spit out his drink, 

Pepper glared at him, 

"So I hear your in collage when did you graduate High School?" Pepper said 

"Ten, after that I started college," I said 

"A few months into Collage I was offered a job just because of my advancement, but thanks to someone," I said looking over at Tony, 

"I am not working there anymore," I said 

"What?" Tony said as me and Pepper looked at him,

"What are you studying?" She asked 

I couldn't finish my food, sometime's I just lose my appetite especially when I have to be shot with glucagon, 

"Science, I'm good at it," I said talking a sip

"Really how good?" Tony said 

"Tony?" Pepper said 

"What I'm just asking," Tony said 

"Like winning science fairs since I was five good," I said crossing my arms, 

"Okay so smart," He said 

"What do you think?" I said in a dull voice, 

Suddenly the elevator opened, we all look in the direction and see Steve walk in the room, 

"Sorry to interrupt Fury needs us and he wants you to bring her," Steve said motioning towards me, 

"Doesn't that guy know how to take a hint?" I asked pinching my nose, 

"Sadly no," Tony said 

I sighed getting up grabbing my crutches, and I hobbled out after Tony and Steve, 

We get in the elevator, and take it to the ground floor, 

We see Fury staring at a giant screen with two blue dots and a bunch of red dots closing in, 

"Nat and Clint need back up," Fury said 

"Of course they do," Tony said 

"Lets go," Steve said 

Tony nodded 

"I'll be back," Tony said 

I nodded 

I see Three green dots closing in on the facility, 

"There are too many of them," I said 

"They can handle it," Fury said 

"Are you nuts? this is a HYDRA facility you have no idea what ace they have up their sleeves," I said 

"They can do it," Fury said 

I glared at him, 

"Like hell," I said 

I sat down at a computer hacking into the HYDRA Facility looking at the Maps, 

finally I put one of the communication devices in my Ear, It looks as if Tony and Steve were struggling 

"Tony can you hear me?" I said 

"Cody?" Tony said surprised, 

"No it's the Easter bunny, now listen, when you get there, you and Steve need to take an underground entrance that is disgusted as a shack," I said 

"Alright," He said 

"Tell the others that are with you to be cautious," I said as I typed 

"You got heavy enforcement at the entrance of the building, that's why I'm putting you underground," I said as I typed, 

"Noted," Steve said 

Not long after they arrived, Steve and Tony arrived underground, while whoever was with them distracted the HYDRA agents outside of the building, 

"Okay were here, were going in," Tony said 

"Good," I said 

I typed and looked at the underground schematics 

"You're coming up on the fork, your going left, then a hard right," I said 

"Got it," Tony said 

"Okay there should be a door on your right, carful your going to have company," I said 

"Nothing were not used to," Steve said 

I hear Gunfire and struggling, 

"Okay which way?" Tony asked, 

"Left, and your going to run right into Nat and Clint," I said 

"Good, " Steve said 

"Okay we got them going out the same way?" Steve asked 

"Yes," I said 

I see them go through the door, 

I type, my fingers fly on the keyboard, 

I hear the alarms blaring through he com, 

"What's that?" Steve said 

"Relax that's me," I said 

"What are you doing?" Steve asked 

"Just sealing all exits so move it or lose it," I said 

"Kid has spunk," I'm assuming Clint said 

They all got out and I hit enter and all the exits sealed, 

"Nice work, Cody," Tony said 

"Yeah, well can't have you having all the fun," I said 

I hear a bunch of chuckles, 

"We'll be back soon," He said 

"Alright," I said 

Fury was now behind me looking at the screen as I typed, 

"What are you doing?" He asked 

"Just hacking into their systems hard drive and short circuiting so they can't trace it," I said 

"Oops," I said hitting enter as I smirked, 

I handed Fury the Thumb Drive I put the HYDRA info on and hobbled out of the room,
