Ch. 6 "Surprise"

                                       Cody POV 

"How did you get the cuts of your face," Tony said 

"Nothing that concerns you," I said crossing my arms, 

"Now do you mind telling me why you are at my school, and stalking me like a creeper," I said 

"Look kid, I don't know why you don't just come work for me, what about interning?" Tony said 

I sighed, 

"Look I have far more pressing matters to deal with, than interning for you," I said standing up, 

My back was towards him, 

"It's been fun Mr Stark, but I have other matters to attend to," I said my hand on the door knob, 

"you mean Camila your mother right?" He said 

I spun around 

"Frankly that's none of your business," I said glaring at him, 

"What is so wrong with working for me?" Tony said 

"Besides from the fact that your ignorant, have a bunch of super heroes under your roof, and all the smartest people there, gee I don't know," I said blankly 

"Come on," He said 

"What part of no don't you understand, do I have to say it in Spanish No'" I said 

He chuckled 

I just rolled my eyes turned around and left, 

Stupid Stark, Stupid Denis, Stupid Men! I thought as I walked down the street, 

My arms were crossed as I walked 

                                          Tony POV 

Kid certainly is stubborn, I think it's about time I pay her mom a little visit, I walked in the hospital taking the elevator to the floor, 

After charming the Nurse she finally gave me what I wanted, I walked in the room, and my eyes widen, 

I remember her! I was frozen in the spot, 

Camila Grey, Cami my Cami the one I was so deeply in love with all those years ago, then suddenly all communication stopped, 

She stopped returning my calls, she moved out of her old apartment, I couldn't find her, it was like she dropped off the face of the earth, 

She slowly turned her head looking at me, then her eyes widen, 

"Tony," She said in a raspy voice, 

She looked sad, weak, 

I sat down next to her at the bed, 

"What are you doing here?" She asked weakly 

"Cody," I said 

Her eyes widen, 

"What's she done?" She asked 

"Nothing, but what I want to know is why you stopped talking to me," I said asking the one question that gnawed at me 

She looked down in defeat, sadness riddled her eyes, she couldn't look at me, 

"The truth is..." She said 

Tears formed in her eyes, 

"Hey, it's alright you can tell me," I said 

"The truth is, the reason I stopped talking to you or taking your call was because thirteen years ago, I got pregnant.." She trailed off, 

"With Cody," She said 

My eyes widen, 

"Tony she's yours and she doesn't know, I never told her," She said
