Avengers Guarded

Ch. 16 "Worried"

                                                        Tony POV 

"Two weeks!" I said as I paced back and forth, 

"Two weeks she's been missing, I mean even the dead beep who had put her in the hospital doesn't know where she is!" I said 

"Calm down Tony we'll find her," Nat said 

Yeah, we arrested her stepfather, learned he put her in the hospital we went to talk to her but it turns out she just walked out, 

But now I'm beyond worried, I even called the University, they said she called saying she was doing her classes online for a while, so I tired tracking her down through the internet but nothing, she knows how to cover her tracks, 

"We even have shield looking into it," Fury said walking in,

"Umm not that I'm grateful but why?" I asked 

"The girl has skill turns out she's the one who hacked into our system months ago, giving us the information on HYDRA," Fury said 

"What?" I said 

"Yeah, I was surprised myself when I found out, besides it takes some special skill to fix that," Fury said pointing at my reactor 

I nodded, 

                                        Cody POV 

"Cody, you need to leave at some point," Peter said 

I was sitting indian style on his bed, 

"I just can't yet, just too sore," I said 

"I understand, but I'm worried, you act like everything is fine, but I know differently," He said 

"I know just don't tell anyone where I am just yet, I'm not ready," I mumbled 

"Okay.. just think about it alright, call him," He said 

I nodded, 

You see after day two Peter has been trying to convince me to call Tony, but I just couldn't do that, not yet at least, 

I'm too sore and my face was a wreck, 

On the good side, Denis was arrested so that is a weight off of my shoulders, 

                                  Peter POV 

To say I was worried about Cody was an understatement, she's been burying herself into school, so she doesn't have to face the fact that her stepfather almost killed her again, 

I just wish she would open up to me, she was just so guarded ever since Her stepfather started beating her, she just closed everything off, 

I walked out of the Elevator, 

"Whoa what's with the scowl?" Clint asked me, 

"Huh? what scowl?" I said trying to act like everything was good,

"The one you had on just now," He said 

"Just school stuff," I said 

He just nodded, 

I walked in the main room seeing Mr Stark pacing back and forth, everyone was in the main room, 

"We need to find her," Steve said 

"Yeah, who knows what she's doing," Bucky said 

I slowly spun around about to leave, 

"Peter?" Mr Stark said 

"Y-Yeah?" I asked 

"Do you know where Cody would go?" He asked me, 

"N-No," I said my voice coming out squeaky, 

"Oh he so knows where she's at," Nat said 

"No I don't!" I said 

"He definitely does," Sam said smirking 

Mr Stark walked over to me more like stomped over, 

"Where?" He said sternly 

I gulped 

                                     Cody POV 

I sighed as I continued typing on the computer trying to concentrate on my thesis, but my head is somewhere else, 

I have'nt slept since that night, which is understandable, as I was so caught up in my thoughts I heard someone in the house, stomping up the stairs I just assumed it was Peter pissed off because of Flash or something, 

I just kept Typing away, 

"Thank God," I heard 

I looked up seeing Tony and Nat walk in the room
