Ch.31 "Dad"

                                            Cody POV 

I groaned in pain, The chair tipped over long ago from the beatings I earned along with me, so now I'm bound to a chair and laying on my side, barely able to stay conscious, I can't tell if I have been here hours, Days or weeks, it all kind of mushing together due to well you know,

"So this is how this is going to go," Denis said rubbing his knuckles 

"I'm going to ask you a question if you don't answer, well I get to have some more fun, if I like your answer I'll give you a little bit of a break," He said 

"What are the avenger and shield up too?" He said 

I chuckled which I choked on some of the blood forming in my mouth, 

"What's so funny?" He said with anger, 

"Why would someone like you want to know that, you are a piece of trash, who gets wasted and gambles too much," I said 

He kneeled in front of me grabbing my face which caused me to winced due to the injuries, 

"Let's just say I met a few friends in prison and they offered me a deal, my freedom for information, and who better to give up that information than Starks bitch of a daughter," He said glaring at me, 

"I may be a bitch but I'm not a piece of trash, who beats on the weak and defenseless. I mean come on look my hands are tied not exactly a fair fight," I said 

"Shut up you brat!" He said kicked me in the stomach, 

I started laughing, 

"You thought I was just going to give you information just because you inflict a little bit of pain, trust me when I say this, I wouldn't give you information if you were the last unicorn in the land of fairies, and you were dying of thirst to find the last princess of a lost land," I said in a sarcastic tone, 

He started kicking me repeatedly, 

"You are going to tell me! if you ever want to see him again!" He said 

"Is that the best death threat you got?" I said 

He looked at me confused 

"I have to be honest here, I always thought you were dumb, but I didn't think you were this dumb, I mean kidnapping without a real plan, not to mention the only back up you have are common thugs, sure HYDRA got you out of jail kudos to you, but what exactly do you think is going to happen to you if you don't deliver your end of the bargain?" I said smirking 

He paused not really sure what to say, 

"Yeah, that's what I thought," I said 

I adjusted myself, turing my watch, trying to make the signal better, and I hear a ping, I smirked good thing the buffoon didn't hear it, 

                                         Tony POV 

Four days, four freaking days she's been missing, 

I was in the main room typing away, 

"Have you been here all night?" Nat said 

"Yeah," I said searching the city, 

"You need sleep," Clint said 

"I'll sleep when she's home and safe," I said 

Then suddenly alarms started blaring and a red dot started blinking on the map of a holoscreen, 

"FRIDAY what's going on?" I said 

"My indicators detect a distress single coming from this location sir," FRIDAY said 

"Cody.." I said 

"We'll get the others," Nat said 

I nodded suiting up, 

"Sir her vitals seem to be dropping," FRIDAY said 

"How the hell do you know that?" I asked 

"She is relaying the information from a device she created sir," FRIDAY said 

I nodded, 

"Okay," I said taking off towards the location, 

"Just hang on a little longer Cody, I'm coming," I said 

                                            Cody POV 

"Tell me Cody, how long can your body function without food due to your condition I mean it has to shut down eventually," He said circling me, 

"Well you wouldn't get any information now would you?" I said in a dull tone, 

He picked up a crowbar 

"Then I guess I'm going to have to up my swing now won't I?" He said raising it above his head, 

But before he could even swing the door is blasted open, 

"Step away from her!" Tony said 

Denis went to swing and just like that he was blasted and he hit the opposite wall, 

"Cody..." He said walking over to me briskly 

"Took you long enough.." I said early above a whisper 

He kneels behind me and starts untying me, I watch in a daze as Steve grabs Denis, 

Tony helped me to my feet, my arm around his neck, 

"Cody?" He said looking at me I was barely keeping myself conscious, 

"Dad..." I said then everything went black, 

                                   Tony POV 

I could tell Cody was having trouble standing, 

"Cody? Cody?" I asked 

"Dad..." She said which shocked the hell out of me and her body went limp, 

I quickly caught her, 

"Cody," I said shaking her lightly 

I quickly picked her up and took off, 

"FRIDAY let Banner know the situation," I said 

"Of course sir," FRIDAY said 

I looked down at Cody only seeing a few of the injuries made my blood boil, 

"Stay with me sweetheart," I whispered taking off towards the tower,
