Opposites Attract

Naru found herself standing in darkness her hands and feet were bound by white chains and her face bound by a white blind fold.

"Sasuke." She said in a faint tone, the coldness answered her with a mocking laughter intertwined with the fear in her heart.

Memories of her past kept dragging her deeper into the darkness. She bowed her head low hearing the people yelling insults and staring at her with fear.

The white energy chains dug into her skin in a cold binding manner.

"Sasuke." Naru said slowly placing her hand on her forehead.

She suddenly began giggling and closed her eyes. She slowly rose her red eyes moved around the fog, She walked slowly towards the humming voice.

"Find her!" Kaolin cried out falling to her knees, suddenly an energy blue arrow shot from the mist and shot into her back.

She stared with wide eyes her lips parted, blood pooled from her lips, she coughed falling to the side her hair covered her face when she laid on the ground.

A white platform heel boot moved over her body stepping on blue glowing rose petals.

She stared with wide eyes at the masked woman staring back at her. The woman walked away fading into the fog.

Sakura trudged through the fog making her way towards Sasuke. She coughed hard when she realised the fog actually had a sweet smell.

A ghostly lullaby came through the silent village, Sakura placed her hand over her mouth before she fell to the ground her heavy eyelids closed.

"Get up!" Sai called out grabbing her arm, he dragged her to her feet.

"Sweet smell?"

"Gen-justu!" Sai yelled out in the distance, Sakura made her hands into a few signs before she dispelled the jutsu.

She stared with wide eyes around at the fog that was blinding her vision. She slowly walked around her eyes widened when she heard a laugh through the fog.

She turned around making her way towards where she read Sasuke's chakra. She ignored the lurking shadow in the fog.

The masked woman smiled holding her bow and aiming, her white hair blew in the wind.

She released her arrow at her target.

"Sakura!" Sasuke called out when he opened his eyes, he looked at her with wide eyes.

"Come on idiots!" Sai called out blocking the arrow from contact on target.

He stared with wide eyes at Sakura who was   running further into the fog.

He cursed when he looked around, he clenched his kunai. He panted hard his heart pounding loudly in his throat, he trembled when another laugh came.

He stared with wide eyes when a sword slash line came towards him glowing a bright white colour.

He dodged to the side his eyes wide, the sound of a loud explosion came.

"Sasuke?!" Sakura called out, her eyes moved around while she panted hard.

Slowly Sasuke opened his glowing red eyes, he slowly moved towards his feet. He clenched his jaw, he began cracking some bones into place before he wiped blood from his lip edges.

He breathed heavily his eyes moving through the mess of a jutsu before him. He spotted Sakura, then Kaolin dragging herself about.

He drew his eyebrows together and turned away from his team. He didn't really care about the rest, he walked slowly out of the fog down the street.
