Opposites Attract

Sakura tended to Sasuke she stared at him wince in pain when she cleaned his wound. She looked at him and then cleared her throat.

"Uhmm, that was uhmm-"

"It happens." Sasuke mumbled his eyes on the wall ahead, he hissed in pain when Sakura pressed on his wound.

She looked at him with a raised eyebrow, he stood up once she was done and headed towards the stairs. She stood alone in the living room, she got off her gloves and sighed her hair covering her face.

Sakura walked towards the kitchen,  she dumped the gloves in the bin and turned walking away. She pushed her pink hair from her face and sighed staring around.

She walked away towards the stairs, Sakura let out a sigh through her slightly parted lips. She held the cold wooden railing when she climbed up the stairs.

Sakura felt a heavy feeling in her heart, she didn't know why. But what she had seen in the kitchen had brought her to a conclusion that something had happened between the two, she saw the looks those stares.

Sasuke and Naruto's mad smiles, she felt a shudder through her body. She closed her eyes and shook her head, she went up the stairs and finally walked down the passage.

Sakura walked to her room but stopped when she heard sound of two voices, she stopped by Sasuke's room and placed her ear on the door, she lowered her chakra levels and listened in.

"What was that?!"

"That was me showing you your place-"

"Place, are you mad, you stabbed me, you didn't have to-"

"Sasuke stay back."

"Listen to me my kitsune." Sasuke said and then went silent, Sakura tensed when a hand was placed on her shoulder.

She spun around on her heel and stared with wide eyes when she stared at Naruto, she had on a kind smile. Sakura looked at Naruto then at the door.

"Did someone go into-"

"Why are you eaves dropping?"

"I wasn't?"

"It's quite rude, we are supposed to guard hi-"

"He isn't alone in there-"

"Is it now, why is it a worry to you?" Naruto asked with her blue eyes on Sakura, Sakura felt uneasy.

She saw the red tints at the edges of Naruto's eyes, Sakura stumbled back and walked away. She looked back and saw Naruto staring  at her, she looked ahead and walked away.

The shadow clone vanished within the blink of an eye, Sakura was now in her room.

"Why did you  do that?!" Sasuke yelled in anger.

Sakura furrowed her eyebrows and placed both hands on her face, she looked to the side.

"I am putting you in your place." Naruto said with a mad smile, Sasuke glared up at her from the floor.

Sakura shook her head and took a shaky breathe, she should sleep. Sakura got into her night clothes and crawled into bed, she pulled the covers over her head.

"Sasuke stay back!" Someone yelled.

Sakura closed her eyes tightly, she swore that voice was similar to Naruto's. But if it was a clone, Sakura would've known, Sakura shook her head.

She needed to rest or maybe she wasn't crazy after all.

"It seems everything is in order." She said with a wide smile, Sasuke looked at her intensly not removing his eyes from her.
