The week in Suno was concluded with nothing but a dead body and cold evidence that had no value in tracing the killer.

Naru wrote down in her report with a solemn face her eyes were glossy. She sighed her shoulders slumping before she slowly closed the scroll and placed it in the side pocket of her backpack.

"Let us move." Sai said with a broad smile, Naru walked behind the team her eyes moved around the desert, she looked back at Suno.

A question lingered in her mind, had she truly failed. She slumped her shoulders once again and slowed down once more feeling the heat bore into her skin, she stopped in her tracks when something caught her eye.

"Naru!" Sakura cried out when the nin ran into the desert at a fast speed.

"I'll go and get her." Sasuke mumbled breaking into a fast run.

"I've read in books that this is how people die in ghost stories."

"Fuck off Sai." Sakura mumbled glaring at the handsome taller male.

Naru stopped in her tracks and panted hard, she swiped the sweat on her forehead and slowly crouched down before she dug through the hot sand her eyes brightened suddenly.

She took a small glowing blue rose petal in her hand, she took it between her fingers and squinted at it ghostly glow before she slumped off her backpack and placed it down.

She silently unzipped her backpack and rummaged inside before she felt the soft touch of plastic, she pulled it out and began running her fingers together.

The rose petal began to weather into glowing dust. Naru tied up her small plastic bag and placed the item into her backpack.

"What are you doing?" Sasuke said panting hard, Naru slowly rose slumping her backpack straps over her shoulders.

"Come on." She said in a kind tone, she beckoned the male and walked back towards the team.

Sasuke looked back at the ground.

He furrowed his eyebrows when he swore he saw a seal glowing. He began to rub his eyes but snapped from the trance when Naru called him.

Misokagure was a cold village, heavy dark clouds rode high on the skies. Naru walked ahead of the group her eyes moved over the village, she felt her body trembled and it wasn't from the cold weather.

"I found an inn." Sai said glancing at Naru, she silently looked around her blue eyes were slightly widened.

"Naru it's not that way."

"Huh?" Naru said turning away from the coldness that was numbing her body in fear.

Naru walked briskly behind the team, she glanced back her eyes flickered towards Sakura who was silently eyeing her over.

They got about 3 inn rooms again, Sakura and Naru shared for security reasons.

Naru remained silent in the lobby her eyes shifted to catch a glimpse of a white dress. She furrowed her eyebrows, a hand was on her shoulder.

She became rigid her wide eyws shifted to Sakura, the taller girl shook her head. Naru nodded walking away with her friend.

"What's wrong with her?"

"I don't know." A woman mumbled her silver eyes moved with Naru, she smiled slightly behind her white opened fan.

Naru walked into the bedroom throwing her stuff onto the single bed on her side. Sakura pulled her pink hair into a ponytail, Naru settled on the ground her blonde hair hid her face from view.
