Opposites Attract

The week dragged on in a slow pace as Naruto avoided Sasuke, she would call him for food then leave.

It was a peculiar pattern with no words exchanged, she would take him training and watch him from afar.

She didn't dare utter a word to the Uchiha, he was intimidating and very well knew his perks.

She thought he could see her weakness, the sudden fear of Sasuke was brain numbing and frustrating.

She pondered on what she feared, Naruto sighed as she stirred her strawberry banana smoothie with her straw.

She looked at Sasuke as he placed a grape in his mouth, Naruto closed her eyes and took a deep breathe.

Sasuke noticed her uneasy form and stared at her with cold dark grey eyes, he looked directly into her blue eyes.

Naruto gulped as her heart began beating fast, her mind began racing and her face was beginning to burn as blood flowed to her cheeks.

Sasuke smirked and leaned closer to the table, he had a raised brow as Naruto tried to get away from him.

She stood up and walked from the kitchen island.

Sasuke eyerolled and stared at her half eaten food.

That event had startled her, she was left breathless and fearful, she hated the oppression she was in.

Sasuke was like the boss of the house and she was merely a servant under his foot.

Naruto hadn't thought her mission would be hard, she screamed loudly before she thrusted her hand in the air, screaming as blue flames shot out in the open.

She breathed in and fell to her knees, her blonde hair covered her round shaped face.

"You o-okay?"

"Yeah Hinata."

"That was a quiet big flame, maybe one day you'll spar me?" Hinata said smiling, the wind blew in her curly bluish black hair.

The cold wind then blew in Naruto's blonde hair as she stood up, she sighed and walked towards Sakura.

She sighed as she sat down beside Hinata, she looked down at her slender hands.

"I hate this."

"Everything?"

"Everything."

"What is it you hate?"

"This new mission, this guarding of Sasuke, this whole staying with him in one house!"

"Mixed e-emotions." Hinata said as she tucked some strands of her hair behind her ear.

The moon light shone on Naruto's fair skin and gleaming blue eyes, she turned her head to Hinata and smiled slightly.
"Don't w-worry, y-you'll be f-fine again."

"Why?"

"S-Sakura is c-coming to the m-mission t-tomorrow." Hinata said while twiddling her fingers, she gasped staring wide eyes as Naruto stood up fast.

Naruto stared with wide gleaming eyes at Hinata, the blonde looked at Hinata who was white from surprise.

"N-Naru?"

"I have to go, see ya later." Naruto said in a flat tone, her bangs covered her face as she turned around slowly.

She leaped up from the cold grass onto a tree branch, she moved fast through the trees not looking back.

Hinata stood up from the grass floor and shrugged her shoulders, she walked away her hands deep in her sweatpants pockets.

Sakura was standing in her full length mirror fluffing her pink curly waist length hair.

She smiled as she looked at the dress she wore, she smiled and turned around.

She placed her hands over her mouth as she giggled, she turned around fast as a gust of cold wind came into her large bedroom.

She turned around staring with wide green eyes at her tomboy friend Naruto, she raised a pink brow as Naruto leaped into the room.

She landed down on the wooden floor and walked slowly her hands deep in her baggy sweatpants pockets.

"Naruto." Sakura said as she turned back to her mirror, Naruto raised a brow as she sat down on the girl's bed.

"So how did you get the mission?"

"Get what mission?"

"The A-Rank mission meant for my anbu and I." Naruto said as the light of the room shone on her face shadowing her eyes.

Sakura pushed her lips out and moved her nail over her eyebrow, she smiled and looked back at Naruto.

The blonde wore clothes that a boy would and seemed to have not combed her hair at all, she seemed to have pulled it into a messy ponytail and left it that way.

She stared at Naruto's black matte oval shaped sharp long nails, she sighed and crossed her arms.
"Why would you care?"

"I don't know, ain't this shit sounding funny?"

"Well you can't work alone."

"I have and always had, especially in my anbu work, why would you enter these types of affairs." Naruto said with a dead tone, she held her right hand up.

Naruto pressed her index finger and thumb together, her blue eyes gleamed beneath her bangs.

"We are getting ourselves in a blood war, we are holding an Uchiha while half his clan has been resurrected!" Naruto snapped with wide blue eyes, Sakura merely giggled looking away.

"You didn't say the same when Karin is joining too." Sakura said and Naruto dropped her hand.

She placed it between her wide spread legs, her back was hunched and her elbows rested on her thighs. She kicked a red dress on the floor with her black sneaker, she looked to the side.

"I'm going anyways, welcome aboard." Naruto said in a cold tone, she walked away with her hands deep in her pockets.
