Magic is something that isn't supposed to exist in the world, least of all fairies. I was a fairy. But for fifteen years, I was human. And then I opened the locket, and it gave me back who I once was; my powers...everything. Except at first, I had no idea what was happening to me. It took months of suffering and confusion to finally find out who and what I was. I remember standing on the bridge above the motorway, after being magically pulled back over onto the path, and there was this woman, Miss Dowling. She said she was the headmistress of a school for fairies. She said I was a fairy, and that she could teach me how to control my magic. She offered me a place at her school and I accepted. My name is Kody Myers, and I became a fairy at the age of sixteen.
