it's been two weeks since me and huey broke up, i haven't had any motivation recently

huey thought it was a good idea to split since he was going to college and i was still a senior

i didn't agree what so ever , how could he just decide to up and leave after a year

i was currently watching Sesame Street and eating ice cream , don't ask that show still slaps

i hear loud knocks at my dorm room door
i groan "no ones home!"

silence..

ugh fine i'll get up , i put my ice cream to the side jumping off my bed heading to the door

before i opened it , i heard shouted whispers but too muffled to make out

i open the door to see riley standing there

he immediately looks at me and puts on a big smile

he pulls out a paper and starting talking robotically

"he-llo i was won-dering if you could hannng out to-day just to play some vi-deo games maybe and-"

"riley are you reading off of that paper?"

he quickly stuffs it into his pocket and rolls his eyes

"see i told you it wasn't going to work!" he yells down the hall

my bestfriend riri comes running down the hall

long story short , when they met riri and riley found out they actually have the same name. knowing riley he felt he was the only one who should have it and yelled at her telling her to change it

riri is super stubborn so it caused a fight between them two , they "hated" each other ever since

"girl what are y'all doing?" i ask and riri laughs nervously

"see your plan was ass should've went with mine." riley said rolling his eyes

"shut it." she slightly shoved him

"you guys still didn't answer my question the fuck is going on?"

they both sigh "okay girl, huey is in town and we need y'all to talk , y'all were inseparable!"

"you're right we were.. now look at us separated." i say crossing my arm

"okay well at least get out of the house-"
she stops and her face turns a bright red

"riley i could feel you staring at me." she says still blushing

i turn to riley he was indeed staring at her

now you know why i put hated in quotation marks , they literally like each other but both too stubborn to admit it

"i'm not staring i don't know what you're talking about." he says finally looked away

"any damn ways , i'm going back to eating my ice cream and watching baby shows." i turn around walking back into my dorm

they follow behind me
"y/n you need to stop sulking around and get your ass up and do something!" riri says

i sigh , she was right i was tired of being in here anyways

"Ugh fine , i'll go change."

"I'm picking the outfit!"

we all walk out of my dorm getting ready to go to the library for some odd ass reason

"why are we going to the library again?" i ask and none of them respond

soon enough we made it , i walked inside getting ready to pick out a book but immediately seen the person definitely didn't want to see

i try to turn straight back around but riley pushed me back inside

"girl he's not even looking , look."

i look back at huey to see him reading peacefully

"fine fine. i swear if he comes over here i'm running."

i say causing them to chuckle

i sit down by the computers , opening up a browser

"Hey riley.." ... "oh and hey riri." i here a voice say

i look up to see huey , his eyes travels to me and he stops we stare at eachother awkwardly

"uh hey , y/n.." he does a small wave

"sup." i say and nod my head

sup.. SUP?? what the hell was that y/n!?

he blinks a few times before talking again

"uh , i think we should talk." he says putting his hands behind his back

"i think we should not." i say giving him a face smile looking by back at my computer

"too bad."

"wha-" before i know it he picks me up taking me out the library

he places me down on my feet and slightly smirks

"huey."

"y/n."

"ugh fine , what do you need to talk about." i roll my eyes

"listen.. i'm sorry for everything i don't know why it took me this long to realize i made a mistake but i definitely did." i felt my heart drop

i stay silent i really didn't know what to say

"y/n you know I.." he stops and looks at the floor

"You what?" i ask

"I mhmhmnh you.."

"you what me? stop mumbling boy"

"i love you damn it!"
