new kid 2 // huey

he walked to the front of the class , and you could definitely tell he was nervous, by the way he looked around the room

as he was scanning the room his eyes stopped on me , his mouth gapes open as he continued to stare

leslie tapped my shoulder and whispered "girl , he is so fine and he staring at youu , get you some!"

i laugh at her none sense shrugging it off , i look back at the boy and he was still staring but once i looked at him he quickly looked away

"Prince!" the teacher called him causing him to jump and clear his throat

"right..sorry i'm prince and i'm new here obviously, i'm 16 and i hope i fit in and and make some friends." he says showing his bright teeth

"thank you, you may take at seat."

i watched as the girls eyes followed him as he sat down in a seat right behind me

class soon ended so , me , leslie and jayla walked out of there together

'eeeee!'  they squealed as soon as we made enough distance from the class

i jump at the sudden outburst and quickly turn around to look at them like they were crazy

"Girl i'm so happy for you!" Jayla says practically jumping up and down

"what.. why?" i ask and they giggle

"Prince is definitely feeling youu , and he is so fine." leslie says

i look off to the side , i'm not really one to get attention from boys so i sometimes become really oblivious to it

"can we just get to lunch."i say causing them to roll their eyes and follow behind me as i walked into the cafeteria

i immediately skipped past the lunch line , i never eat lunch food its practically poison

i look around the room to see , huey in the far corner

he looks up and waves me over , i smile at him walking to his table

"how was class?" he asked as i sat down next to him

"It was great! Prince was allll over her." Jayla says not giving me a chance to speak

"wasnt talking to you.." huey mumbles but only i heard it

i roll my eyes., and slightly slap his arm for his rude comment

"he was not , all he did was look at me.."

"look? girl he stared! he probably think you so finee" leslie says hyping it up

i look over at huey and notice him clench his jaw , and begin to bounce his leg up and down

"Guys let's not overreact , i'm sure it wasn't that serious.."

i look up to see prince approaching our table

spoke too soon..

"Hey!" he says looking straight at me

i look behind me to make sure he was talking to me , only for me to look at at blank wall..

"uh yeah..?"

"my name is prince .. but you already know that."

i nod my head

"well.. you're very beautiful.." he leans down grabbing my hand and kisses it

i look over at jayla and leslie and they had the biggest smiles on their faces

"uh- thanks.."

"Anytime , mamas .. listen i need new friends to show me around school, wouldn't hurt to have the prettiest girl do it?" he smiles charmingly slowly letting go of my hand

"uh- i." i couldn't manage to speak but luckily someone spoke up

"she's busy." huey said looking down said his phone

oh god , that's not what i wanted to say..

"oh..well tomorrow is fine."

"she's busy then too." he spoke again this time putting his phone away looking directly at prince

"doing what exactly?" prince said , now catching on

"I don't think you want to know." huey says and a smirk forms on his face

prince slowly backs up , but remains in front of the table

"Prince..right? there won't be anytime she's available so i advise you to stay away from her and ask someone else." huey said sternly
even making shivers crawl up my back

"man , whatever." prince said walking away from the table

i look over at my friends , and they were covering their mouths still trying to process what happened

huey grabs my hand , taking me out of the cafe , and into the hallway

"what the hell was that y/n" huey says staring down at me

i scrunch my face in in confusion because last time i checked he was the one who drove prince away

"What do you mean all he did was ask for a tour!" i say crossing my arms looking up at him

"are you serious.."

"plus it would be nice to have some new friends." i say

he scrunched up his face as if i said the dumbest thing ever "it was obvious he was trying to be more than friends!"

"okay what if he actually wanted to be friends huey!"

"you don't need new friends anyway, you have me."

" i have you- waittt are you jealous!" i say smiling

"what.. why would i be jealous"

"ohhh, she's not available ohhh you don't wanna know what we're gonna do" i say trying mocking his monotoned voice

he runs his hand over his face "can't believe i'm doing this..."

"doing wha-"

he grabs me by my neck pulling me into him connecting his lips with mine , having me immediately kiss back

"oh em geeee!" we hear on the side of us

he pulls away to see leslie and jayla watching the whole time

"god i hate your friends.." he mumbled
