you roll your eyes grabbing the ball again
"i wasn't even trying." you take a couple steps back so you were behind the 3 point line

you lift your arms over your head shooting the ball , as the ball went into the net it made a 'swish' sound

he rolls his eyes grabbing the ball

you brush your dreads out of your face , tying them back with a rubber band

riley bounce passes the ball to you
"check up" you catch the ball before you could pass the ball back someone called you

"hey y/n!" they spoke with a slightly high pitched voice , you stood up straight turning around seeing jazmine running up to you

you hold the ball on the side of you waist as she walks up to you
"what's up..?" you greet her

she goes in for a hug only to have you push her back "i'm sweating." you explain

"so..?" you scrunch up your face but let her hug you anyway

her head lays on your lower chest , since she was that much shorter than you

you nod turning around passing the ball back at riley which just so happened to hit him in the back of his head
"ouch nigga!" he says turning around rubbing the back of his head

you place your hand over your mouth and chuckle "my bad.. i'll be back though"

he squints at you as jazmine began dragging you out of the outside basketball court and onto the sidewalk

you snatch away from her staring her down

you lean back onto the gate looking down at her "so..?" you say crossing your tatted arms

"well.. huey isn't paying attention to me so i need help by making him jealous" she smiles brightly

you look at her with an raised eyebrow and scoffed "andd, what's in it for me."

"uhh , 50 bucks." she tilts her head smiling causing one of her ponytails to lean

she squeals jumping , you couldn't help but smile at her childish antics

you look behind her and notice huey walking up the street with a book in hand

"you realize huey is coming now..?" you ask her and she panics and looks at you

"well do something!" she tells you

"have you had your first kiss?" you asked assuming she did

she shakes her head no and looks down ,
you were honestly surprised but she was still jazmine after all

as huey got closer you leaned down placing a kiss upon her cheek respecting the fact she didn't have her first kiss yet

you stand up straight to see huey looking at you both with an confused expression, you look back down at jazmine noticing her face as red as an tomato

you chuckle to yourself at her neglected reaction

huey walks over grabbing jazmine by the arm , he glared at you as he pulled her away

jazmine smiled and waved causing you to chuckle
