you found yourself giggling at another flirty text from huey , this amused you since he wasn't the one to flirt

you began typing away as your sweet smile remained on your face , you closed the messages pressing onto another application

his name immediately popped up again with another message and you couldn't help but laugh out loud

cairo stands up from his seat and stretches
"what are you laughing at baby." he groaned

"uh.. instagram.." you spoke texting huey back

cairo began walking over to you , you immediately exited out of the messages and opened instagram

he placed a small kiss upon your lips leaning over to look at your phone "can i see?" he asks

you slightly shake your head no
"i already scrolled too far." you shrug

just then another text from huey pops up , you immediately swipe away the message pretending to ignore it and continue scrolling through instagram

"who are you texting.." he asks as he slightly backs away from you

"uh.. just my mom." you lied again
and looked up to see an rather unamused look from cairo

"quit lying.. ain't no way you laughing like that at a text from your mom." he raised an eyebrow and got closer to you again

"so i'm going to ask again .. who the hell are you texting."

"cairo i said my mom."
you spoke already getting annoyed

he rolls his eyes , and reaches for your phone , you push him back and shut off your phone

"see , yo ass ain't texting yo mom." he glares at you

you rolled your eyes avoiding his gaze

"yo ass hiding something , let me see your phone." he said as he tried to reach for it again

"cairo no.. back up!" you yelled

"bitch give me the fucking phone." he said as he managed to pull the phone out of your hands , you try to reach for it only to have him push you down having you fall straight on your ass

you watched as he began scrolling through it , he scoffs and slowly turns to you
all you could do was glare at him back

you stood up snatching your phone from his hands , walking out of the door

he would usually call after you but he just watched you walk away

you left the house and began walking down the street

as bad as it sounds you were getting bored of cairo , you guys often fought over the bare minimum, you were getting tired of the way he treated you .. you couldn't believe you ever fell for him , you just fell for the way he used to treat you

you found yourself throwing rocks at his window to get his attention , you threw another rock just as he opened his window having the rock hit his head
luckily his afro cushioned the fall of the rock

he takes the rock out of his hair throwing it back down "y/n are you crazy.." he groaned signaling he was probably asleep

you wiped a tear that fell from your tired eyes "please.." was all you said before he closed his window stepping back inside his room

the only person you wanted to see completely ignored you , you sighed as you began walking back down the street

you shivered as the cold air roughly brushed against you skin every few minutes

until you felt a warm cloth being placed upon your shoulders , you turn around to see huey shirtless

he realized he placed one of his jackets on you "w-wheres your shirt..?" you begin to stutter from how cold you were

he picks you up bridal style completely ignoring your question , he then walks you back into his house and places you onto the couch

"you're a dumbass you know that." he spoke going back and closing the door

you slightly smile at how protective he was over you

he walks over to you placing his hand onto your forehead "let's hope you don't get sick.. because i'm not helping you."

you rolled your eyes pulling him into a soft kiss
he kisses back but pulls away

"what was that for..?"  he asks at a slight whisper

"shut up." you said pulling a cover over you

he furrows his eyebrows "y/n wh- nevermind.." he rolled his eyes sitting down next to you turning on the TV

you snuggled up next to him as he wrapped an arm around you
"why are you here anyways..?" he asked and you begin telling him what happened between you and cairo which only made huey laugh
