i danced around my room getting ready for school

25% of me was happy to see riley the other 75 % was definitely scared and nervous

i mean he kissed me wait does that mean we're dating now?
no no that's not right.. is it?

i guess i'll just talk to him to find out what exactly we are

i walk downstairs already expecting huey which he was right in front of my door waiting for me

"hey huey." i say walking out of the gate having him follow behind me

"you're smiling, why?" he says and points to my face
i didn't even notice i was smiling

"you won't believe what happened yesterday!" i say really excited to tell him

"oh really?" he says not amused at all

i roll my eyes "hueeey!" i say giving him a little shove

"fine what happened." he says turning his attention to me

"riley , he said he had feelings for me!" i say doing a little dance

"i would-"
"AND! he kissed me right after" i said cutting him off

"yeah but-"

"oh huey! it was like a dream i seen sparkles!" i say doing a twirl as we walked down the street

"y/n he's-"

"i really must be the happiest girl alive." i give him a hug and walk off into the school doors since we already arrived

i already felt butterflies thinking about how i'm going to talk to riley

i'll just start a normal conversation that works right

i hated how shy i was

i went straight to class amd and sat down in my seat

i was a little early so while i waited for everyone to come to class i often looked at the door to see if riley came in

soon riley did come in with his white tank top and baggy jeans with his timbs and chains

he sat down and didn't even look at me

weird.. but i didn't think about it too much he probably didn't notice me

i chant to myself trying to get the guts to talk to him

just then the teacher walked in ruining my chances to talk to him

i sit slump down into my seat and sigh

"okay , so as you guys know we have been working on scientific notation word problems, so to know if  you guys get it i'm going to have you guys make 4 of your own word problems with a partner of your choice."

oh great here's a chance i could talk to riley

"you may now pick your partners and work on the assignment for the rest of the class."

i stand up , immediately making my way over to riley before any other girl

"riley , let's be partners." i say

he looks up at me and then looks around the class before slightly rolling his eyes and nodding

i nod and sit down and pull out a paper so we could start working

we made an agreement he would do 2 word problems and i would do 2

as in writing i look up at him "riley." i call him having him look up at me

"what's up?" he says and stopped writing

"well, uh you remember we kissed and all.. what does that mean for us." i get the courage to say feeling my heart beat in my chest

he slightly chuckles and shakes his head "you didn't think i was actually serious did you?" he says causing me to immediately frown

"wh-what do you mean?"

"look.. y/n you're smart and nice and all but i heard you liked me and wanted to see how you would react." he says now smiling showing his white teeth

"what!" i stand up and stare him down

"i mean come on , you got some ass but that's about it y/n there's no way i'm liking you, kinda thought you were smart enough to know that shit." he says chuckling at the end

"you know what riley freemen you're a piece of shit you're right i should've known that." i say crossing my arms

he stands up to face me "y/n i'm so-"

"No! you're not you do this to every girl like the dick you are! you know what i should have never trusted you you don't deserve me i'm way better then what you'll ever get!"

i turn around to get ready to walk out the door but something inside me said otherwise

i turned straight back around and slapped him aross his face having him hold the position with him hand on his face
"good for nothing player!" that's when i decided i didn't want to see his stupid face anymore i walked out the class

feeling tears brim my eyes and there was my bestfriend huey already waiting for me

i quickly run up to him giving him a hug as the tears started to fall

i didn't even care he didn't hug me back

"why don't you ever listen to me.." he mumbles
