update on my boyfriend, and yeah we're long distance 😢 -- you and cairo began walking down the street , apart of you felt like the road was super familiar but you just couldn't put your finger on it
randomly cairo stops and turns you around to face him He smiles and places a kiss upon your lips , then quickly places a blind fold over you eyes and ties it
"uh cai.." he turns you back around and began leading you somewhere
he stopped for a moment, then randomly you feel warm air brush over you skin meaning you made it inside the "place"
he snatches off the blind fold to reveal a library, not just any library but the library you had many good and bad memories in
you look around hearing the subtle whispers every now and then from the people around you
"cairo i-"
"wait wait." he tells you and takes you to a table in the middle of the room , he then grabs a book and quickly flips to a page
he places the book into your hand, then points "read right here." you began reading slowly realizing everything was all to familiar
you quickly look up at cairo to see him already smiling at you "this is where we met , you were reading that book on that exact page."
you always went to this library when you were with huey , but once you and cairo started dating you stopped going afraid it will bring back unwanted memories
you jump up and hug him placing a kiss on his cheek "happy 3 months baby." he spoke causing a huge smile to grow on your face
earlier "huey!" you ran behind him hugging him by his neck as he sat down reading a book
"what y/n.." he slightly groaned causing you to get a little embarrassed
"uhh , we made 3 months today!"
he slowly closed his book and looked up at you "okay....?" he slightly chuckled
you rolled your eyes and walked away "nevermind.." you mumbled
— "oh! , im sorry cairo i would've did something for us but i thought you wouldn't care.." you sighed feeling guilty
he chuckled "it's fine , but wait here for a second." he said before he disappeared behind one of the book shelves
you began flipping through the book cairo gave you earlier , starting to memorize every sentence that came next . that's how many times you've read it
"y/n..?" you hear behind you , you quickly turn around expecting to see cairo but instead you see an afro headed nightmare
you turn back around ignoring his presence causing him to scoff
"ignoring me huh.." he sighed
"yup." you confirmed nodding your head
"come on y/n , don't be like that." he rolls his eyes and turns your chair around to face him
you stand up looking him in his eyes "huey , stop im not going to let you hurt me all over again , i'm not as naive anymore." you crossed your arms
he scoffed "y/n you love me .. and you know you love me , and i'm sorry but i realized i really need you." he grabs your hand only for you to snatch away from him
"no huey , you helped me realize i never loved you.. i- i was just attached and you knew that and decided to take advantage of that!"
"no y/n , i love you and you know that.."
"well .. can't say i feel the same, someone taught me what real love is.." you shrugged looking away from him
"sorry it took me so long i-" cairo walks up behind you
"the fuck are you here for.." cairo said
huey raises an eyebrow " i could be asking you the same thing..."
"uh baby can we go..?" you asked clinging onto cairo
"woah woah.. baby..?" huey chuckled and shook his head "no wonder you're acting like a dumbass , cause you're dating one."
"my nigga you have no business talking to my girl like that.. or at all. the only dumbass here is you for losing a gem like her." cairo grabbed your by the waist and teasing kissed your neck causing you to giggle
"i don't have time for this shit.." huey said leaving you and cairo alone once again
