"mamas you ready ?" riley yelled from downstairs

i rolled my eyes as i continued to flat iron my hair
"don't rush me lil' boy!" i yelled back

i heard him chuckle then he started to walk upstairs 'oh shit' i think to myself

i put my flat iron away because i was done anyways i looked at my off the shoulder black dress that hugged every curve on my body

'yup , i'm too fine' i think to myself

"bae who you talking to like th-" riley says walking into the room but stops once he's sees me

"hell no ." he says and starts walking over to me

"what you mean?" i ask as he walks over i put my hands around his neck as he grabs my waist

he kisses my neck slowly twice before he whispered in my ear "change.."

i rolled my eyes and pushed him off "baeee..." i whined

"change now." he says and stuffs his hands into his pocket

"you know what , no i'm not changing; it don't even matter i'm just going to my house for dinner."

"alright man , whatever bro." he says walking off

"broo? i'm not your damn bro i'm your girlfriend riley." i say following behind him

"okay." he says now walking downstairs

just before he made it to the door i grabbed him by his jacket and wrapped my arms around his neck "don't be mad at me baby" i say and kiss his cheek

he sighs and shrugs me off "let's go." he grabs my hand and leads me to the car

i knocked on my door and my big brother opened it he looked at me then looked at riley and scrunched up his face

he stepped aside and i grabbed riley's hand and walked inside

"you nervous?" i ask him and he shook his head no

"rico , this is my boyfriend riley." i say to my brother

he takes out his hand and riley shakes it they exchanged greetings before my brother looked at riley's chain and flicked it up

"real?" he asked "hell yeah" riley responded
i hit him on his arm for his language "shit my bad." he cursed again

"riley!" he covers his mouth while he lets out a chuckle

"anyways , where you get that chain from?" my brother asked

"oh from this rapper thugnificent , i got it when i was a youngin" he shrugs

"ohhh , that old rapper." riley nods his head

"aight good shit." rico says and dapped him up

'boys..' i think to myself and rolled my eyes

"okay dinners ready." my mom yelled

"oh ma y/n is here and she brought her boyfriend." rico says as he sits down

i sit down aswell and riley sits down next to me

"mom , dad this is my boyfriend riley."
they both look at each other before talking

"hmm , riley what do you do?" my dad asked

"oh i'm working on becoming a professional basketball player." he says causing my dad to nod his head in acceptance

"what's with the chain ?" my mom asks a little worried

"my favorite rapper gave it to me when i was younger." my mom nods but i knew she didn't really understand

i then realize riley slightly changed his accent to sound more proper

"this is a big question but , what are your intentions with my daughter ?" my dad asks

"well to be honest i think i'm going to marry this girl , she supports me in every way possible i couldn't ask for anything more.."

i blush super hard and cover my face

"good answer." my dad nods

the conversation died down and everyone started eating

as were eating riley puts his hand on my thigh

i tap his hand to signal 'not now' only to have him put it higher

i look around at the table and notice my dad staring at me 'i think he knows'

i need to think of a distraction

"daddy can you pass me the salt." my dad reaches over to get the salt

but his hand touches riley as riley tried to get the salt too

my dad scrunches up his face and stares at him
