Y/m had came back to our house, dropping off Aaliyah and later leaving.
Nevaeh had been in bed with Aaliyah right after she came back.
I called the boys over including Jabez and we started talking.
Rob: so you're telling me you saw them talking? that's a reason to fucking domestically abuse her?!
Jabez: I didn't know what I was doing!
Alv: well you knew enough to do it!
Alex: for real.
Jabez: I was trying to stop her from leaving, she's still at home, I'm not gonna let her leave and you guys aren't gonna tell anyone.
Kai: yeah ok, "I hit my girl and chose to tell y'all I know it's wrong but don't say nun" you sound dumb as hell.
Mattia: you could've done anything else illegal but abuse? Nah bro you gotta go.
Mariano rushed in the house with 3 files from my office, throwing them on the kitchen table.
Mar: I did some digging last night polibio, tell me what the hell this is.
Mattia: a file?
Mar: look at the fucking name dumbass.

Mattia: yeah, I don't know why they left his file in the office if he's d-
He pointed to the last name.
I paused at a loss of words as Mariano looked at me.
Mattia: you didn't read through it-
Mar: I read through it and ouu if Nevaeh finds out, you are 6 feet under buddy.
Mattia: you're not gonna tell her.
Mar: I'm not gonna tell her because I know about your dad and I don't want her getting hurt, but it all makes sense now, all three of you link back to-
Mattia: you can't and aren't gonna say a word about anything.
Mar: nope, i'ma just leave it here for you to consider.
He looked at me like I was supposed to understand what he meant.
Mattia: are you blackmailing me?
Jabez: he's not but I sure am.
Mattia: huh?! You know absolutely nothing about the situation.
Jabez: but I knew her dad and I partnered with yours. You're not gonna say a word about Cynthia, unless you want Nevaeh to know the truth about yourself.
Alex: too many fucking dads, what the hell is going on?
Mar: and what do you mean about Cynthia, what's wrong with Cynthia?
Ro: oh no.
Mariano passed all the files to the boys so they could make the connection.
Ale: ohhhh shittt.
He started laughing.
Alex: Mattia he got your ass good.
Mar: so is no one gonna tell me what's wrong with Cynthia?
Mattia: care to explain Jabez?
Jabez: no
Ale: he hit her.
Mar: huh?!
Jabez: and neither of you are saying a word about it cause guess what?
He got his phone out and snapped a picture of the file.
Jabez: I got a copy of this file and that's all I need to ruin a relationship and get her in serious danger.
He left with the files as we stayed quiet and I went into my office thinking things through.
