Mattia's POV:
Aaliyah and I were playing Mario cart upstairs in my room, waiting for Lydia to come pick her up.
I had called Nevaeh millions of times just for her not to pick up and checked her location that was turned off.
The boys were on the way but Vinnie wasn't answering his phone.
Mattia: k Liyah, tías here.
Liyah: I can't stay?
Mattia: no princesa, I have adult things I need to do.
I picked her up, taking her downstairs as Lydia was driving up to the house, through the gate.
Liyah: When will mommy be back?
Mattia: hopefully soon.
Lydia: hey baby!
Aaliyah giggled as Lydia picked her up, putting her in the car and coming back to talk to me.
Lydia: where is she?
Mattia: It's a really long and frustrating story but to summarize I have a friend who is doing something illegal that I didn't approve of but they chose to blackmail me for something that happened years ago, but Nevaeh found out what he was doing and went to "solve" it.
Lydia: you're in some serious trouble if something happens to her.
Mattia: I know, I just don't want Aaliyah to be tangled in this mess right now.
