Y/n POV:

'I can't wait for you, to come my way, I've been far away, But I'll keep running, just to find a way to you 'til then,' I sing in my head as I hear the lunch bell ring. 'That asshole! Now he's got that song stuck in my head.'

As much as I hate to admit it, I had fun last night with Haruto. Maybe not the running, but it brought back a feeling that I hadn't felt in a while. One where I felt that nothing was wrong with the world and I could be free from the negative emotions that surround it.

'Heh...I'm gonna have a fun time working with him,' I think as a smile appears on my face. I grab my pre-made bento from my bag and begin eating, extremely content with both my food and my thoughts.

"Hey," I hear the orange-haired boy say, as he sat in front of Uenoyama. Should I have learned his name by now? Yes. Will I ask him? Nope. "Are you guys, like, super good friends suddenly?" he asks Uenoyama, bringing both his and my attention to the conversation.

"Huh?" Uenoyama questions as he holds a yakisoba bread in his hand. "Who's "you guys"?" he asks, while I already figure out who he was talking about.

"Y'know, you, the person who sits next to you, and the kid from the class next door..." the orange-head responds, pointing to me, not noticing that I was listening in on the conversation.

'Dude...I'm not deaf. You can't be the loudest person in the class, mention me in a conversation, and point at me, then not realize I'm listening to every word you say.' I think as I continue to eaves-drop.

"What's their name? Yamamoto? Takahashi? And what's his name? Suzuki? Tanaka?" Orangey, a nickname I came up with, says, making me sweatdrop.

'Did you just name off the most common last names in Japan, in hopes that you would guess right? And you still missed both of them! Like they're both really common' I think, slightly agitated at his words.

"Ito? Sato?" Uenoyama mentions while taking a bite out of his bread, making me glad he finally spoke up. At least one person knows my name.

"Yeah, him! And is that their name? I didn't know that!" Orangey starts making me breathe out an aggravated breath. "Anyway, why are you guys so buddy-buddy lately? You've been hanging out with both of them instead of us, right?" he continues, making Uenoyama look a bit shocked at his friend's words. "I mean you, Takahashi, and Suzuki-" Orangey says, but gets cut off by Uenoyama.

"It's Ito and Sato," Uenoyama corrects him, making me thankful for his words.

'I owe you something as thanks Uenoyama. Whatever you want, besides money, I'll do or give to you,' I promise him in my head, not noticing the approaching girl.

"Well, none of you are exactly sociable," a random girl says while walking up to the two boys, shocking the both of them. I take a quick look at her and see that she has Persian orange coloured hair and eyes. She was wearing a brown sweater and a green skirt.

'How dare you point out the obvious!' I think, making myself silently chuckle as the girl continues to talk.

"Two of you are in the same class, while the other is not. All three of you have different personalities..." she points out, making me more agitated.

'It seems hypocritical for me to think this, but you don't know me. Don't talk about any of us like you do,' I think as I slightly stare into the back of her head.
