Y/n POV:

Beep! Be- "NOT TODAY MOTHERF*CKER!!" I shout at my alarm as I throw a Saitama punch towards it. One could say I was on edge, even if the little incident with Hiroshi was two days ago. However, I wasn't going to take any risks. "Thank god he's gone back to his own apartment," I mutter to myself as I stare at the ceiling.

'Aha, that crack has definitely gotten bigger.' I think as I pull my bedsheets over my face, hoping the day would pass if I laid there.

"Y/n Ito. If you don't get your ass out of bed, I will drag it out. Don't forget that I overlooked your 'little actions' a few days ago. I can revoke that decision whenever I want," my mother shouts at me, immediately making me sit up. My sheets fall off my face as I blankly stare forward before I drag myself out of bed.

"You curse one guy out one time. One time!!" I mumble as I grab my everyday clothes and quickly throw them on.

"It wasn't one time. You said he was the most disgusting person you have ever met," my mother shouts back at me, making my eyes widen in surprise. It seemed the older she was getting, the better her senses were getting. "You also said he was a piece of sh!t and that he had a microscopic penis," my mother continues, quickly making me giggle at my past words. I open my door and walk into the kitchen. There I saw my mother sipping some tea while sitting at the dining table.

"Do you think he got mad because I was saying facts or because I ran out with his only trump card?" I ask, making her chuckle as she took another sip of tea.

"If I remember correctly, once you ran out of the apartment, he tried to run after you but ended up slipping on the hardwood and falling... So, I'd say both," my mother laughs out, bringing a large smile to my face.

'At least she can find something funny out of the situation,' I think as I walk over to the fridge and pull open the door. '...Rice works,' I think as I pull out some leftover rice that we always seemed to have. 'And we're gonna heat it up today. Aren't we, Y/n?' I smirk to myself as I throw the container into the microwave and warm up the food.

"Yes, we will!" I say to myself, completely forgetting about the other person in the room.

"What do you mean "yes, we will!"? Are you ok? Do you need to call in sick?" my mother aggressively questions me as I hear the microwave beep at me. Sighing, I pull my food out, walk towards the table, and take a seat in my usual spot.

"What would you say to the secretary? Y/n's hearing voices? Y/n isn't the most mentally stable?" I jokingly ask, earning a deep scowl from her.

"How about I tell her that Y/n's an asshole? What do you think about that?" my mother angrily questions me, her face scrunched in irritation. I shrug my shoulders before shoving my face full of rice again.

"Wouldn't be anything she hadn't heard before," I tell her, my words slightly muffled from the food shoved in my mouth. My mother rolls her eyes at me before standing out of her chair, picking up her teacup and putting it by the sink.

"Do you have work today? I'm not going to be home until late, so I don't want you to be home alone," my mother tells me with an evil smirk on her face. "And before you ask, yes. I do think you can't be trusted alone," she tells me as she walks around the corner and towards her room. "Like a child!" I hear her shout at me before her door clicked shut.

"I wasn't thinking that..." I mutter as I finish up my breakfast and stand out of my chair. "Who does she think she is?" I question as I walk over to the sink and place my dishes beside it. Opening the fridge back up, I look around it while muttering "Come up with an original insult."
