To others, the excuse for them to waste their lives away. Their everlasting belief that everything happens for a reason allowing them to relinquish their control.
Fate, it seems, has no common ground. But that's the funny thing about life, isn't it? Even when you think you have everything figured out, every riddle solved and every question answered with definitive facts, it turns out that you never really knew anything at all.
They were the perfect example of that. The perfect, tumultuous storm. He was the wind and she was the rain that rocked the seas, creating a whirlpool of emotion that threatened, though never quite managed, to completely drown them out.
They'd been raised to hate each other. Two complete opposites born into a society that appeared to be completely black and white. But sometimes, just sometimes, the last person on earth that you want to be with is the one person you can't seem to be without.
