Mason and I stood at Murtala Muhammed International airport, looking around and waiting for whoever was going to pick us up from the airport,our dad told us he sent someone to pick us up,15 minutes had passed and no sign of anybody,all of a sudden,I saw someone creepy staring at us,he wasn't dressed in a driver's uniform if that's a thing,he was walking towards us,I gripped my brother's arms and he noticed why,he didn't budge,we just stood there,waiting for what was about to happen.

"Are you Mason and Michelle?."He asked us when he got there.

"Good afternoon,yes,we are."Mason answered.

"Okay,your dad sent me to pick you guys up,nor vex say I dey look una like that,I dey try check if una be the children when Dem send me make I pick (Don't be angry,if I frightened you with my stares,I was trying to confirm if you were the children that they sent me to pick up.)"He told us.

We passed him a smile and got into the car,we drove out of the airport,Lagos was very busy,much more busier than Asaba, everybody's first experience in Lagos was never a sweet story,many people's belongings has been stolen and had been in difficult situation since they were JJC(Johnny Just Come) but I guess our experience was quite different because this wasn't our first time being in Lagos,we stayed in Lagos but due to my parent's divorce,my mum had to move very far away from him, people suggested PHC but she wanted somewhere very very far from him.

We once lived at Lekki but I don't know if my dad has relocated,we drove towards the direction of Victoria island.

Interesting.

Unlike me who was admiring and observing the beauties of the city,Mason just had a bored expression as he scrolled through his phone, I don't actually blame him,he was being forced to meet the man who made our lives a living nightmare,I was actually scared of the outcome,a lion's cub was going to see his father,the lion,I hope Mason doesn't disrespect him in anyway.

I decided to use my phone as I was already staring through the tinted window,I didn't know when we were in front of a very big mansion,I thought the mansions that my classmates like Jace,Lucas,Olivia and the rest lived in was huge,this was something else,it wasn't just one building,when we drove into the compound,there were more than one building.

"Wow...."I admired the fleet of cars in the garage.

So this man is rich like this but he hardly sends us money,I see the reason why Mason detest him.

When we got to their doorstep,I decided whether or not to knock because Mason wasn't even interested in any of these things,he didn't even make a single comment.

The door was opened by a maid,she smiled at us as she paved way for us to enter the house,the interior design blew me away,I couldn't even admire all of it when I heard toddlers and a male voice screaming and yelling.

"Emil!,come back here."I heard a voice yell as they ran downstairs.

The child was giggling,an adorable one for that matter and an older boy who was....

Freaky hot and cute!.

They stopped when they noticed us,"Who are they?."The adorable boy asked his older brother.

"They must be.....Mason and Michelle..."He replied him as he looked at us.

"Right?."He asked us.
