"Aren't you going to go sleep now?"

I rolled my eyes for who knows how many times now. I turned to look at this man, "If you want to go, then go! I'm not forcing you to stay..."

Lucas's eyebrows shot up, while I giggled a little... "You're not forcing me? But you're holding on to me."

I looked at my arms that are wrapped around his arm.

"So what? Remove it if you want to leave."

I threatened him, and he just sighed in defeat. "You do know you're kinda seducing me, right?"

"I am not seducing you!"

I shouted. Me, Athanasia, seducing this old man?! Never!

I stood up and started walking away from him, his laughter roared when I started walking away, I heard some noise behind me, and not a minute too soon, he was already beside me.

When I looked at him, I can see that he was clearly trying not to laugh again. I scoffed at him and fasten my pace.

Over the years, this guy turned up and say that he's my friend, well he declared that he was my friend.

I have tried to shoo him away, but he always comes back, he has been by my side through my ups and downs.

Living inside a big Palace, it's kinda lonely sometimes, but it turned out great after a few years.

I always have breakfast and tea time with Papa every day. But recently he is quite busy, and I don't know what he is busy about, I've been by his side taking a peek at the documents that he is reading from time to time.

But since last week, he skips breakfast and our tea time, I wasn't also allowed to enter his office.

I don't know what's happening, but when I ask Lily or Felix, they just smile and say that Papa is just busy.

Time has passed, Lucas already left to his tower and I failed to sleep again.

"Princess?"

I turned around and saw Felix, I smiled at him, "Yeah?"

"The seamstress is back."

Oh. I went out of my chamber onto my receiving area, I saw the seamstress that went here two weeks ago, with three— no four mannequins that has dresses— I presume.

She turned around and greeted me I smiled back and she started to remove the covers on the mannequins.

I was shocked! No, it was an understatement!

"What do you think, Princess? Anything that catches your eyes?"

I looked at the four dresses but the pink and white one stood out the best for me.

She seemed to notice that I took a liking to it and motioned me to try it on.

We all moved to my closet inside my chamber, it was only me, Lily, the seamstress and a few more maids to help me change.

After changing, I faced the mirror and I stopped.

'It's so pretty!'

The seamstress adjusted a few things and had recommended that she'll add a few details.

"Surprise me, I'll see it again once it finished."

She nodded and the maids helped me to get out of the dress and change to a new dress, the cycle repeated for all four dresses, I finished around the afternoon.

I changed into a new dress since it's almost dinner time, and I don't want to change later.

"Lily, what are the dresses for by the way?"

I asked while she combs my hair, I stare at her in the mirror, I noticed she stilled but continue and just smiled at me.

"You'll know soon, Athy."

I smiled at what she called me, it's been a while when she called me by Athy. I missed that name.
