"Entering His Majesty, Emperor Claude de Alger Obelia! Together with, Lady Athanasia!"

I heard someone introduced the girl in my arms without a surname. I looked at the girl, don't worry you'll carry a surname soon.

I entered the throne room saw a bunch of useless people's widened eyes. Tch.

I sat on my throne and motioned them to sit.

I saw Athanasia looking around, curiosity fills her eyes every time she looks at something.

"Y-your Majesty?" I looked at this white-haired dog, "D-did we hear right? The Lady's name is, A-athanasia?" He asks stupidly, is he deaf?

I look at her, "Can you tell them who you are?" She looks at me and smiled.

"Hello! My name's Athanasia!"

These bastards suddenly started coughing. "Y-your Majesty!"

I looked at them.

"This is absurd! Why does that thing have a name that is meant for the heirs of the throne?! Princess Jennette doesn't even have one!" The dog kept barking.

"Are you challenging my authority, Alpheus?" I said with a murderous tone.

He backed down.

"I called you all here to just let you know that this girl will receive her title as a Princess. She's been far away from her home for too long."

Looks like these nobles are trying to say something but couldn't say it.

"Will there be a competition for who will be the Crown Princess since there will be two imperial princesses?"

"No. I'll decide that. Not you."

With a cold glare they backed down and then I started to hear their initial reports, while Athanasia observes the throne I'm sitting in. You like shiny stuff huh?

After a few hours, the meeting is done and I get to relax. Athanasia jumped down from my lap and started roaming around the throne room.

She kept stopping and admiring all the stuff.

"Papa?" She looks at me, "What is a Crown Princess?"

"..."

"A Crown Princess is someone who inherits the throne. The future ruler of Obelia."

She stares at me then nods.

"You want to be one?"

"I don't know... I think it's hard?"

Hmm...

"Have you studied before?"

"Yes! Lily teaches me a few stuff, then sometimes I get to learn from a few teachers that travel to the village."

I see. There's a way to know your intelligence. Could it be better than that wench? I'd rather prefer you have that throne.

"Tomorrow you'll meet more people."

"More?"

"They'll be your teachers. They teach you all the things you need to learn."

I noticed her eyes widened, and as if I can see them sparkle. Pfft...

"Athy will learn?! Yay!" She jumped in glee.

Is it that good to learn? It's just boring stuff.

"You excited?"

She nods at me happily, "Athy always wants to learn more. That's why Lily tries to teach me everything she knows." 

She ran back to me and hugged me and smile.

"I think you'll be a good Crown Princess."

She just smiled at me then just shrugged her shoulders.

Looks like you'll enjoy studying so much huh? I'll see what you can do.
