"Good Morning, Princess.." Someone suddenly greeted me, making my head turn and when I saw who it is, I smiled. I continued my way to Father's Office.
"Good Morning, Knight Robane!" I happily greeted the so-called 'The Knight of Crimson Blood' Knight Felix Robane.
He only nodded and gestured me to enter the room, which I obliged.
When I entered the room, I saw a man writing and reading a mountain of documents, "Good Morning, Father!" I happily greeted him, but he didn't even look at me.
I just sat down on the sofa and saw a maid entering with tea and snacks.
'Father must have prepared this for me beforehand!' I peeked at him and he's still in the same position. 'He may be cold on the outside but he cares for me!' I giggled and started eating and drinking the tea and snacks prepared.
I was humming when I suddenly heard something from my Father, "If you're done eating, leave the room." He wasn't even looking at me.
I just nodded, I don't know if he saw or not, but I continued eating.
After a few minutes, I bowed and said "Blessings and Glory upon the sun of the Obelian Empire."
I left the room and started walking back to my palace — the Ruby Palace.
While I was walking, I heard a few maids gossiping, I wasn't interested but when they mentioned something, I suddenly was.
Now an 8-year-old princess is spying on the maids' conversation.
"Did you know? My relative said that there was a girl with unique eyes that lives at a village near the borders." Maid 1.
"Really?" Maid 2.
"Yes, but when I ask, she said it looks so pretty that words can't describe it!" Maid 1.
"Hmm... If you ever visit there, do look and inform us about it!" Maid 3.
"Yes, yes!" Maid 1.
After that, they went back to what they're doing, and I left as well.
'Unique eyes?'
I looked at the window and saw the bright blue sky.
When I arrived at my room, I took a bath, for the second time of the day, and then just sat at my bed. I'm still thinking about those unique eyes they said.
I wonder what it looks like.
Suddenly I heard a knock at my door, "Come in," I said.
A maid entered "Your teacher is waiting for you, Princess." She informed me. I nodded at her and got out of bed and head to the library for my class.
During my lessons, I was still distracted which made me have a lot of mistakes and got scolded multiple times.
I'm now laying on my bed ready to go to sleep, but I still can't get the word 'Unique Eyes' out of my head.
"Now, I really want to see those eyes," I said while looking out the window, seeing a dark peaceful sky.
