"Yes guys! We sounded awesome!" I yell in excitement, we have been practicing non stop for are performance at the Orpheum

"I know right!" Reggie said with a big dopey smile he always does on his face. When he smiles like that I can't help but stare.

"I can't wait for tomorrow!" Luke says while rapping his arm around my shoulder. "I know right its going to be killer!" Alex says getting up from his drums. "Tomorrow night all our lives will change!" Bobby said while hitting Reggie on the shoulder with excitement. Reggie lost his big smile but had a small sad smile, but he covered it up with a fake excited one once he noticed all eyes on him.

"Heck yeah man!" Slapping Bobby back with the same energy. But me being his best friend saw right threw his happy persona, I take a mental note 'ask him about it when he walks me home.'

"I can't wait to see all the hot babes there, waiting for us to preform." Luke says dreamily. "Yeah cause all the 'babes' will be looking at you drooling." I say walking away so his arm falls and sit on the couch. "It could happen." He says trying to defend himself, "Not with the way you sweat on stage." I give him a joking smile back and pack my things.

"Hey where you going Reggie?" Alex asks, I look up to see Reggie grabbing his bag and case. "I got to go home. Uhh, homework." He says bolting out of the studio. "What's the deal with him?" Luke asks no one in particular, Bobby just chuckles. "Well anyway I have to head home to my parents will kill me if I miss curfew again." "Want me to walk you home?" Luke asks "no it's ok see you guys tomorrow!" I walk out the studio then start running trying to catch up with Reggie but I'm to late. So I just head home by myself.

I'm sitting in my room writing some songs when there's a knock on my window. "Reggie?"

I get up from my bed and open the window, before I can even say anything he tackles me in a hug I don't question it and just hug him back.

After a few seconds he lets go and I see a nervous expression. "Reggie are you ok." "Do you love me?" His question catches me off guard. "Yes I love you why would you ev-"  "No, do you love me?" "Reggie what's wrong?"

"Would you be there for me and be my friend no matter what?" "Yes of course. But Reggie are you ok?" Before he answers he takes a huge breath. "Remember at practice I left super quickly, and I didn't walk you home." "Yes?" "Well it was because of Luke."

"Why Luke? Did he do something to you?" "Yes." "What did he do?" "I- I ugh." "Reggie you can tell me anything you know that." "I got jealous he wrapt his arm around you and I got jealous I know it's stupid but." "You got jealous." "Uhh kinda." He rubs the back of his neck nervously. "Why?" He turns away from me not making eye contact. "Reg?"

"Do you trust me?" He turns back to me with and expression I've never seen him have before. Which is shocking. "Yes Reggie I trust you."  "Close your eyes, please, only if you want to I'm not forcing you to." "Ok."

I shut my eyes and I hear him shuffle over to me. I hear him take in a deep breath and then softly grab my face with one hand. My breath hitches with how could his hand is.

"Are you alright? I can stop."  He whispers I'm my ear making me get goosebumps. He has this effect on me were I can't speak. So I shake my head.

I feel his breath on my face, then he gently kisses my lips after a second he pulls away. I open my eyes.

And are faces still close together, I look into his eyes and then glance at his lips, then it hits me. My crush just kissed me! Reggie Patterson just kissed me! Reggie was jealous of Luke and I!

"Sorry if I just ruined our friendship, sorry." He backs away nervously. "Sorry y/n really am so-."

Before he could finish his sentence I grab him by the collar of his shirt and pull him in and kiss him. He wraps his arms around my waist to deepen the kiss, I keep my hands on his neck.

After a couple seconds we pull away to catch our breath. He rests his forehead on mine.

"You have no idea how much I've wanted to do that y/n." I couldn't help but smile at his words.
