Chapter 5

After we got back to the chateau we went back inside to find everyone unsurprisingly still asleep.

We easily sneak back in and lay back on the pull out.

We both stare at the ceiling failing to fall back into a peaceful sleep.

"Hav" "Yea?" "You awake" "Yea"

He turns over to face me and I do the same.

"You're really pretty, you know that right?" he tells me and I roll my eyes "I'm sure you say that to every girl"

"Seriously Haven you're stunning" he gives me a small smile. "Don't be gross JJ" I turn away from him to attempt to sleep again.

Way to accept a compliment Haven, great job.

"A thank you would be nice sweetheart"

The way he says sweetheart makes my spine tingle.

"Thank you" I mumble "Good girl"

WHAT JUST HAPPENED I-

My brain goes crazy with different thoughts. The way he says good girl makes me think of certain things that I will not voice at this current moment.

After calming down I finally get back to sleep.

"John b can you hand me a beer luv" I say in a British accent "Of course luv! Would you like me to open that for you?" He says in the same accent. "That would be lovely!" I give a little giggle after.

John b walks across the boat to hand me the beer I thank him and he walks back to his spot.

JJ's arm is resting behind me as I lean back a little to get in the sun more.

I take a quick swig of my beer and hand it to JJ he follows suite.

"Hey are you doing anything tonight?" JJ asks me "Not that I know of, why?" "Can I stay at your place?" "Yeah of course you're always welcome at my house J" I ruffle his hair.

I sit up straight again and JJ rests his hand on my lower back.

We ride around on the boat for a couple more hours then we head back to the chateau because Pope and Kiara had to go to work.

Now it's just John b, JJ and I sitting in John b's room.

"So John b do you still have crush on Kiara?" JJ asks "What?" John b asks looking up. "Don't be dumb John b we all notice it" I add.

"How? What makes you think I have a crush on Kiara?" "We all have at one time or another" I shrug "Yeah I-" JJ pauses mid sentence "You had a crush on Kiara?" He looks at me shocked.

"Yeah bro she was my gay awakening in 7th grade" I shrug "Thanks for telling me" he mumbles then huffs and I throw a pillow at him to get his mind back on track.

"When are you going to ask her out?" I ask John b "I don't really think it's a good idea" "Dude she clearly likes you when are you gonna swoop on that!"

"I'm not talking about this with the two people who are in the same situation!" John b defends "What the fuck are you talking about?" I chuckle.

"Oh come on! You can't sit here and tell me you two don't like each other! It's clear to everyone but yourselves" John b tells us.

"Dude we're just friends. Nothing more and will never be more" JJ tells him.

I can't be upset when he's right. We're just friends and we'll never be more. Not matter how much I hope we'll only be friends.

A/n- Ok sorry y'all for the short chapter but let me know what you think of the story thus far I'm brainstorming for many ideas for this story and I'm very very excited!!!!
