"Eric?" I whisper as I walk down the hallways still in shock. I see his door and open it slightly he sits with his hands in his head and he's no longer wearing a top 

"Eric" I repeat and this time he looks up and I see the blood tears running down his face most of it has dried up

"Godric is gone." he whispers and I sigh 

"I know. I'm so sorry." I whisper lifting his chin before I place a kiss on his cheek and walk away leaving him by himself. I get to sleep that night, but I wish I didn't, all I fucking dream of is Eric kissing me and touching me I jump as I wake up 

"What are you dreaming about?" Jason says nudging me and I smirk 

"Bill" I say and he smiles accepting it 

"This kind of reminds me of that bus ride back from All-State. Nothing looks exactly the way I left it. Know what I mean? I've never been away before." He says and I look out at the deserted towns where sirens sound 

"Seems like something's different to me though." I whisper but then the van comes to a crash and I jump out of it 

"What the fuck are ya'll ok" I ask the couple who are still on the floor from where they were hit but I feel Jason grab me as the couple get up and start laughing as if nothing happened thats when I see their eyes which are empty like a 6ft hole 

"Hey, what the hell's wrong with your eyes?" Jason cries but they just continue their laughter 

"Let's go." they say and I jump forward 

"Wait, wait, where you going?" I ask 

"We gotta find Sam!" they cry and my heart stops 

come on voices tell me something I beg but theres only buzzing in return like a nest of bees. We arrive to Bills house by the time night arrives 

"This is Jason Stackhouse. Just want to let y'all know a couple a folks got hit by a car up on the square. But they-- They ran off." Jason says into the phone 

"Ask them what the heck's going on all over town. Oh, and if somebody could call me back and tell me" I say 

"Bill, there's something seriously wrong in Bon Temps." I say as I hear him open his coffin 

"if it ain't the vamper and his vamper lover." I hear from the top of the stairs and I turn to see Hoyts mum there

"Oh-ho-ho, there's those fucking eyes again." Jason whispers 

"Mother, come back here." I hear Hoyt cry 

"Oh, thank God you're home." Jessica says coming out of the room 
"She's gone, like, totally batshit."

"What the devil...?" I hiss as she comes down the stairs laughing 

"At first I thought maybe it was just a bad reaction to her new diet pills... but practically the whole town's got these eyes." Hoyt says 

"How long has she been like this?" I ask 

"Since last night." jessica responds pulling me into a hug 

"She's been on about Sam Merlotte and how they're gonna offer him to God." Hoyt says 

"Offer yourself up to me, Meghan Stackhouse." Hoyts mum cries and I jump back as she tries and pulls me into a kiss but Bill gets between us 
Huh?

"Does she ever calm down?" I cry 

"Playing Wii gets her to focus. But I wouldn't call it calm." Hoyt says and I watch as she starts swinging at the TV playing wii 

"So she says God is coming?" I ask 

"Yes, and that everybody's waiting at Merlotte's so they can catch Sam and take him to Maryann's. At your house." Hoyt says 

"They're gonna rip that boy open and serve him up like barbecue!" she screams and I turn to look at her 

"Hoyt, has anybody been attacked by something with claws?

"Fudge! I'm going to Merlotte's and find out what the hell is happening on my turf." Jason says storming towards the door and I chase after him 

"Jason, if this is the same creature we think it might be, you do not want to go anywhere near it, trust me. Jason, this would be one of those times to use your head." I say and he sighs 

"Oh, I am. I ain't never been so clear in my whole life. This here is the war
I've been training for." he says and I nod before pulling him into a hug 

"Be careful, you hear? Drive your car straight up to Merlotte's, get inside
as fast as you can, and do not go into the woods by yourself." I whisper and he nods before he exits the door. When we pull up to my house it reeks like death and theres nature growing everywhere
