"We're sitting ducks out here if any of Claudine's friends show up. Hurry, in the house." I cry but then I watch as Eric falls forward onto his face groaning "We're heading for the cubby, you hear me?" I screech running up to him to flip him over but I watch as he gets up smiling 

"Hey. I want more." he whispers close to my ear and I move back as he steps up to me 

 "You can't have any more. There isn't any more. You drank the whole fairy, and you're going to your room." I hiss but he just smiles at me before grabbing my face and I feel him about to bite me 

"Eric, you'll kill me! No!" I cry and he backs away almost offended 

"I would never harm you." he whispers and I nod sighing in relief 

"You better not. Come on. I'll tuck you in." I say as I walk towards the house but then I hear him giggle and then feel a pinch on my ass which has me jumping 

"Hey. Did you just pinch my butt?" I say grabbing my ass trying to sooth the part he just pinched 

"Beautiful butt." he chuckles coming in front of me 

"Well, thanks, but hands off." I say but then he runs up and slaps me again 

"You're drunk." I whisper as he continues to giggle 

"Catch me." he says smiling before he disappears  

"Get back here!" I cry and within a second he's back in my space grabbing my waist while he smiles "I'm trying to help you. You can't do this. Get back in the house right now. It'll be dawn soon." I beg and he kisses my cheek quickly 

"I don't care." he says and then he runs off 

"Eric!" I cry trying to run after him but there was no way I could humanly catch him which leads me to do the only other I can think of by the next day I'm running around trying to look for Eric 

"Megs, where you at?" I hear Alcide knock on my door and I run over to him 

"Oh, thank you for coming. l was checking the woods out back one more time. There's no sign of him."I cry 

"How can Eric be running around in the daylight?" he says and I see him taking his top off 

"It's a long, strange story. I'll tell you on the way." I say and I watch as he goes to take off his pants but then he stops raising an eyebrow at me "Sorry. I wasn't thinking. I can't tell you how much I appreciate this." I say spinning around 

"You'd help me if I needed you." he says and I nod when I turn around I see Alcides now a wolf  

"You got a scent?" I ask but he quickly rushes off  "Wait for me, Alcide. Damn." I cry trying to sprint with him holding onto a blanket and when Alcide finally starts slowing down I finally catch my breath walking "So Eric can daywalk some with the fairy blood, but it makes him drunk as a skunk. He's hammered, and who knows how long before he starts to fry. There's no time to rest. We gotta keep moving." I say as I watch him come to a stop at the lake "Alcide. I know you don't like him, but if he dies, Pam'll kill me." I sigh but then I watch as Eric pops out of the water 

"Meghan. Where have you been? Come. Come play with me. It's wonderful here. I am Aegir, god of the sea, and you are Ran, my sea goddess." Eric cries splashing the water around like a child 

"There's big gators in there, you crazy Viking. Get on out and let's go home before one of them chomps off your you-know-what." I cry 

"Leave the sun to the water? Nope. I'll just kill all the sea monsters. Gators." he says before he starts speaking in sweedish and I watch as Alcide turns back into a man and Eric's smile now turns into a growl 

"Get away from her!" Eric cries
