Let's Boot and Rally

"Megs I don't wanna talk anymore. I've waited so long for this." Alcide says as he rips off my clothing and I smile before I feel my stomach make a funny movement and i throw up at my side 

"Alcide. You sure know how to treat a lady." Bill's voice says and I turn to see him and Eric looking amused at the door. When I finally get a shower and clean up I move to the table where Eric and Bill sit 

" I'm not even sure that's possible." I whisper taking a drink of water as I sit down 

"You succeeded before with Tara." Bill responds and I shake my head 

"That was a maenad spell. I've never tried to un-glamour someone. Where were you guys, anyway? We were worried." I say 

"Clearly." Eric says sarcastically 

"Alcide's employee is the only person... who can identify whoever it was that freed Russell." Bill responds and I hear Alcide walk into the room 

"I don't want Doug mixed up in this bullshit. You fangers bring nothing but trouble and death." Alcide cries 

"Well, we don't need your permission, wolf." Eric growls 

"Russell has been under the ground. It'll take him a few days to recuperate. He'll be straight out after us on the hunt." Bill responds calmly 

"You didn't kill him when you had the chance." Alcide growls 

"Get out of here." Eric cries and they all start bickering but then It's like everything goes funny and I start laughing uncontrollably I watch as they all stop to look at me confused 

"Oh, I'm sorry. I just keep thinking that if I make the right choice... all this madness will end and my life will go back to normal. But it's not gonna end, is it? This is it. It's not gonna change. We say goodbye, and the next thing, you guys are back in my house... and a 3000-year-old vampire wants to suck my blood. Must be Thursday." I cry getting up and walking out 

"Well, come on. What are y'all waiting for? Let's go hunt Russell. Onwards into the jaws of death. Boot and rally." I cry putting my jumper on and then I walk out the door stumbling. When we finally arrive to Alcides friends I feel like I sobered up a little 

"Doug, this here's Meghan. Meghan, this is Doug." Alcide says and I hold up my hand for him to shake  

"Well, what can I do for you folks'?" he asks looking worried 

"Um-- Would you mind terribly if we took a little peek inside your head?" I say as the faceless three appear beside me 

"What the fuck?" Eric whispers looking at them 

"Boys meet my voices, voices meet the boys" I say quickly and I watch as Eric stares at them longer before the voices place their hands on my shoulders and It's like I'm sent inside Dougs head 

"What do you remember about that night? " I ask 

"Nothing, I swear. I was taking my break like always." he whispers but then the images cross my mind of someone walking up to him with loud clicking boots

"Somebody's coming up to him." I whisper  

"What do they look like?" Bill asks and I try to get a good look at the person as the image moves to what looks like concrete 

"It's blurry. I can't make it out. It's a woman. She's digging Russell up with her hands." I whisper looking at Russells burnt face 

"What the fuck? What is this? What the fuck is this?" Doug cries seemingly seeing the same images as me 

"She has a necklace, a pendant. Like a spider or a bat?" I say before opening my eyes and feeling the voices disappear 

"A female member of the Authority released Russell. Did you tell Nora that we buried Russell alive?" Bill asks turning to Eric 

"No." Eric responds
