"Meghan Stackhouse?" I hear a voice say as I sit outside the porch in the dark I look up to see a older looking man standing before me and I jump up feeling the voices standing around me 

"Who are you?" I ask protectively

"How could you forget me?" the man says tilting his head "Come on Meghan and Russell two besties" the man states and I get the feeling in my gut that whoever he is my old self didn't like him. Alcide had warned me that people would try to find the old me and that scared me more than anything cause from what he explained the old me was always in some kind of shit but before I know it the man stands before me and goes to grab me as I scream flinging him off me with the flick of my wrist and I watch as he crawls back scared 

"Whoever you believe I was to you I am no longer. I am an angel sent from above and you will respect me" I cry and I feel the wind shift around me but before I can do anything else someone rushes the man from behind and slits his throat I watch as the man who called himself Russell splats everywhere and reveals a tall handsome blonde man 

"Well, that felt even better than I thought it would." he says gasping and I watch as his eyes snap to mine "Where is Alcide?" he asks and I shake my head confused 

"Who are you?" I ask and he smiles

"Eric Northman we are old friends" he states and as I go to say something I watch as Alcide runs outside and the man who is clearly a vampire appears on the porch in front of me causing me to take a step back I watch as he seems to look me over and breathe me in 

"What is that amazing smell?" I hear a woman cry from behind and I watch as she tries to grab me but the blonde vampire grabs her by the throat 

"You will not feed on Meghan" Eric cries but I see the hunger in the girls eyes 

"What is she?" the girl cries 

"She is a college student. Who's saved my life more than once. And whose fear vibe very graciously brought me here tonight... allowing me to settle an ancient debt. Nora." he states and this seems to stop the woman vampire from struggling and he drops her to the floor before resuming his examination on me 

"Oh the girl who lost her memories" Nora says smirking up at me but I watch as Eric seems to wipe the grin off her face with a glare. 

"Come inside this is not what you are here for" Alcide growls and I watch as Erics eyes snap to Alcides and he nods before they walk inside. Later that night Eric seems to be long gone while Alcide dumps me at grans old house where I see Jason and Sookie sitting. Sookie gets up when she see's me 

"Megs, you have to help it's almost like he's stuck in a dream" Sookie says running up to hug me and I look at Jason who sits there in a shock 

"Jason, are you even hearing me?" I whisper as I snap my fingers in his face but then I jump backwards as Eric appears with Nora and someone I finally recognise as Tara a childhood friend 

"What the--? Oh, my God. Tara. Are you okay?" Sookie cries looking at the girl but Taras eyes seem to be studying me 

"Is it true about you?" Tara asks looking at me 

"Which is?" I prompt 

"That you don't remember a thing" she says and I tilt my head confused 

"Oh, fuck. Tara. I forgot that you were one of them." Jason says looking at her 

"This reminds me. You haven't gotten around to transferring... ownership of Megs house back to her." Sookie says and I almost burst at how much fucking information is getting thrown at me 

"We'll do it the first thing tomorrow. If we survive tonight." Eric states and I sigh
