Zarina pov

I'm very worried about Tyler, he doesn't look okay, he doesn't speak to anybody nor does he come out from his room, I was informed by the chef that he has not eaten for days, I know something is wrong but I don't know what, I knocked on his door, I heard shuffling inside before the door was opened to reveal a dishelved and messy Tyler.

"Hi" I said

"Hi Alpha, how are you doing, what would you like to do for you" he said, he sounded like a robot.

"wooo, what crawl up your ass and died" I said hoping to get a reaction but I got nothing, I sighed and push past him to get into his room.

" your room is so messy" I said picking up some clothes scattered on the floor and dodge the broken glasses.

" What do you want zarina, I'm in no mood to play" he said locking the door. I sighed again

" look, we are worried about you that why I came up here to meet you, you haven't had any human interaction since you came back from Jim's pack what going on, and don't even tell me it nothing, because I know somethings up, you know you can't lie to me" I said he looked at me and sighed he went over to his bed and sat down, he looked down on his clamped hands resting on his thigh, now I definitely know something is wrong.

" I found my mate" he said, I stared at him in shock

" what, you've found your mate that amazing but that still doesn't explain why you are sad that a joyous thing" I said wondering what's wrong I didn't realise he was crying until I heard him sniffles, I went over to him immediately.

"wait, did she reject you" I said already dreading his answer.

" Yes, she said she didn't want us, she said she didn't need a mate, especially someone like me" He said crying, I hugged him and he cried on my shoulder.

" it's okay, she's very stupid for rejecting you, she will come to realise that she left a good mate when you found your second chance mate" I said he brought his head up to look at me.

" second chance mate??" he said looking surprised

" wooh, you are the beta of this pack and you don't know the laws" I said frowning my face and crossing my hands.

" sorry I never paid attention in class but what is it about second chance mate" he asked scratching his head.

" well it is said that if your true mate reject or does not accept the mate bond, a second chance mate is created to fill in that spot, so as for the wolf not to go rogue" I said

" seriously, so I can still get another mate"he smiled at the thought of a second chance mate, Yes he could if only he is destined to one.

" well you can have, if knly you are destined to have one " I said and I saw how his face looked down

" But no problem when that time comes we will be there for you" I said and hugged him tight.

" How do one knkw his second chance mate " he said

" well I think the two wolves will fall in love, at first they won't feel the bond like when they first meet their true mate but as time goes on the bond will start forming" I said

" but why, shouldn't they feel it immediately " he said and I smacked his head.

" Ouch, what was that for" he said rubbing the side I smacked his head.

" Like seriously, you don't remember anything from werewolves history class" I said he looked at me and shrugged saying a simple 'yes' I sighed.

" Well, they won't feel the mate bond because the other wolf might be grieving for the loss of their true mate or recovering from the rejection of their mate, but one thing is certain, the second chance mate bond will keep growing day by day as long as they are seeing each other everyday, the second chance mate bond is just like when humans are in love " I said

" But what if, I don'thave a second chance mate" he said looking down, clamping his hands on his thigh.

" it doesn't matter if you have one or not, we are all hear for you, I'm here, Richard is here, the whole pack is here for you, we are one family and we stand together " I said he looked up at me and smiled.

" Thank you I don't know what i would have done if you were not here" he said

" See you adore me, you can't do without me " I said he hugged me tightly whispering 'Thank you' everytime, I can't afford to lose a friend because of some stupid mate that don't know what they have lost, u can never reject Richard I love him too much to do that.

" okay, enough of emotional time, you are going to get up, take your bath and meet me downstairs, you and I are going to eat" I said and stood up

" Okay I will go take my bath" He stood up to leave for the bathroom, I nodded.

"I will call a maid to clean up your room, but now I will go see Richard and tell him I'm taking you out" I said he nodded sadly, his thinking about her again.

" Tyler " I called him he looked back at me

" Don't think about her just be praying to the moon goddess to give you a second chance mate, she doesn't deserve you thinking, okay" I said " okay" he said and went into the bathroom, when I heard the water was turned on, I left the room to go find Richard, I mind link the head of maid to send an omega to go clean up Tyler room after an hour or so, I saw Richard, told him what happened to Richard, he was really angry someone could do that to their mate and I told him I will be taking Tyler out to go eat, he said no problem, I kissed him and called Tyler down at least that will lift up his soul even fkr a little bit, after we went to see a movie

I had a great day with zarina, I'm really happy I'm friends with her I never want to change thatas for mate, I will try to forget her.
