3rd POV
"Jamil! Let's go hang out! Today's the day I beat you at this board game." A little boy with short white hair ran up to another little boy with long dark hair. They were Kalim and Jamil when they were little.

"Again? Seriously, Kalim, I'm gonna own you every time. I'd wanna play something else..." Little Jamil said to little Kalim with a sigh.

"Hey, Jamil! Watch how you talk to Master Kalim!" Suddenly, a lady walks in. It was Jamil's Mother.

"Ow!" Jamil yelped out when his mother pinched his ear a bit. Soon, a man walks in and stood besides Jamil's Mother. It was Jamil's Father.

"Thank you for deeming our foolish son worthy of so much of your time, Master Kalim." Jamil's Father said to Little Kalim.

"To be treat your servants with nothing but kindness without discrimination.... This is surely the fruits of the master's superb upbringing." Jamil's Mother added.

"My earliest memory is that of watching my parents now their heads in submission to Kalim and his parents." Jamil mumbled. Y/n turn to face Jamil to listen to what he was saying. "I loathed seeing them like that." The two soon face back to the Memory to see what will happen next. Y/n couldn't help but give Jamil a few glances of worry that filled her eyes. Pity plastered on her face.

"... Listen well, Jamil. Always make sure to keep a three to two losing streak." Jamil's Father told Little Jamil. "Don't keep beating Master Kalim."

"You're a very smart boy. So I'm sure you can imagine the position we're in... Can't you?" Jamil's Mother told Little Jamil as she crouch down to his level.

"... I understand." Little Jamil looked down and nodded his head.

"Kalim's family is way above my own. So... That means he's above me." Jamil explained briefly. "Therefore, whether it's grades, athletics, or games.... I can never surpass Kalim." The pain in his voice was visible to hear. "To keep pace with Kalim, I pretend to be incapable of anything "

"Jamil! Look at this. I got the top rank in that dance competition." A slightly older Kalim said to the slightly older Jamil. "Ah ha ha! I did it. I won three to two Mancala which makes me the victor!" The memory soon switched to when they were in Scarabia for the first time. "Since you helped me study for the magic history test I scored a 75! Eh? You got a 70? I see. Cheer up."

"You haven't beaten me. I've been letting you win this whole time." Jamil said through semi-gritted teeth. "With that damn airheaded look. Pay attention, Mr. Oblivious!"

"Jamil...." Y/n mumbled out.

"I'm gonna be the Scarabia Dorm Head...? I don't really follow... But leave it to me!" Kalim said with his signature smile. Jamil wasn't wrong when he said Kalim is oblivious to some things. "Right, Jamil!" Jamil soon went to have a talk with Crowley.

"Headmaster, why'd you make Kalim Dorm Head?" Jamil asked Crowley. "He's not an especially skilled wizard and he's still a sophomore. We've all got our hands full trying to cover for his mistakes."

"At Night Raven Collage, it's not unheard of for dorm heads to sill be in their sophomore year." Crowley said to Jamil.

"But..." Jamil muttered out.

"Mr. Viper. In order to fulfill the requirements of education, a certain "Something" is necessary." Crowley told Jamil. "Mr. Asim's Family was gracious enough to make a large donation... Therefore, in my position, my hands are tied. You're clever enough to know what that means... I'm sure you can understand."
