3rd POV
At the Botanical Garden, Ruggie makes his way through the facility as he searches for a certain Lion."Leona, I'm back with Lunch!" Ruggie called out. He soon heard a frustrated groan not so far as he walked his way to it.
"Grr... Already afternoon?" Leona sat up as he yawned, sleepiness not leaving him.
"Were you by chance sleeping here all morning? You're gonna fail another class." Ruggie sighed at his lazy Dorm Leader. Leona sniffed the air as a delicious scent came into his nose.
"... Oh, smells like you got what I ordered." Leona said as he faced the Hyena.
"Ugh. Leona, you always want the stuff that's the most competitive." Ruggie groaned as he gave the food to Leona. "Here's your order of one deluxe minchi katsu sandwich and ice tea."
"Stupid. The more difficult it is to get, the more you wanna eat it." Leona explained to Ruggie briefly before taking a bite from the stollen sandwich.
"I'll eat anything as long as it isn't moldy." Ruggie sighed as he placed his hands behind his head. He soon faced the Leona. "I'm sure Prince Leona wouldn't know anything about that." He teased a bit.
"Hmph. I'm not the crown prince, the the second. I couldn't be king even if I wanted, I'm not different from the masses." Leona told Ruggie before taking a sip form the ice tea.
"I'll never forget when I showed you a picture of my home and you said, "I thought it was a dog house"." Ruggie quoted what Leona said to him before as he glared at the said Lion.
"I said that?" Leona asked as he tried to remember of he said that it not.
"Ya sure did. Ugh. I'd love to live in a castle so big it makes my house look like a dog house." Ruggie sighed with a shrug.
"Hah. Being royalty isn't that great." Leona said. "You effort or skills make no difference, everything is decided by what order you were born in..." Leona glared at the ground, feeling the frustration build up in him.
"Hmmmph... Is that so?" Ruggie muttered. "Oh yeah. After school today is the dorm head meeting about the Magical Shift Tournament. Please, do not miss it." Ruggie reminded Leona. He knows how lazy Leona is since he's the one who does most of his work for him.
"... Tsk, pain in the ass..." Leona mumbled under his breath.
"As the dorm head, you get the biggest single room. So work to earn that place." Ruggie said.
"Ah, fine, fine." Leona caves in as he agreed. He soon gave a yawn, showing his sleepiness coming back. "I'm suffering to the brim and sleep. Wake me up after lunch." Leona already finished his food a while ago as his eyes fluttered shut.
"I'm not your alarm clock, Leona. Eh, he's already asleep!?" Ruggie stuttered out. Surprised in how fast Leona can go back to sleep, even though he just woke up 2 minutes ago. "Ugh, I can't." Ruggie was ready to throw in the towel at any point.
Ruggie left the sleeping Lion alone as he walks his way out of the garden while he thinks a bit.
"Now that I think about it, where have I seen those First-years, owl, and racoon before?" Ruggie muttered. Flashbacks from before played in his mind. The girl with H/l H/c hair and fierce E/c eyes. That look on her face too. No wonder Leona stepped back a bit when Ruggie came into view before something that could've turned for the worse would happen. "Intimidating girl..." Ruggie smirked as he made his way back to the campus.

It was finally the end of the day. The First-year gang went to Crowley's Office as they were told to. They wondered why they were called in for as Y/n knocks on the wooden door infront of them before entering.
"Headmaster, pardon the intrusion." Deuce said.
"Pardon us." Ace and Y/n said in sync.
"You're all here, I see. Let's get this right to the matter at hand..." Crowley started. "Now that things have calmed down after the Heartslabyul incident the other day, there is a matter I must discuss with you." The seriousness in the headmaster's tone made the First-years gulped a bit as they listen to what Crowley is gonna say. "You all need to know about the berserk state Mr. Rosehearts fell into if you are to become wizards."
"It was Overblot?" Deuce asked, making sure if he got it correct.
"I better take note of this." Y/n said as she pulled out her jornal and pen to write down the information that Crowley would give them.
"Yes, that's correct." Crowley nodded.
"I've heard about it from my bro before but, seeing someone build up enough blot to become that was something else." Flashbacks of the event played in Ace's mind. "He really went full "Evil Berserker Mode"."
"Hey, what is "Blot" anyways?" Grim asked as he pulled in Y/n's sleeve for the answer. But the girl ky shrugged.
"I don't have the information about it either. There's little to nothing about Overblot ever since the ancient era of magic itself." Y/n told Grim. She recalled the amount of time she spent in the local library for answers about the said Overblot topic but there was nothing but warnings in the books that she read.
"Ms. Wonderlin is correct. That's right. You all need that explained as well." Crowley thought for a moment before nodding. "I shall fill you all in. For I am gracious." (There's the line.) Crowley clears his throat before continuing. "Blot is the type of waste created after one uses magic. In the same way a vehicle creates exhaust as it burns fuel to run." He simplified it so the students in front of him could understand better. "Spells burns magic to manifest, and create blot at the same time... That should be easy enough to understand."
"So blot is the exhaust of magic? That doesn't sound healthy." Y/n said.
"That is correct. Blot has been researched since the dawn of recorded history but, there are still many mysteries to unravel. One thing that is known for sure is that blot is a toxin and building up too much can cause great harm to the mind and body." Crowley added.
"Oh yeah, my grandma used to always say, "You'll build up blot so don't use magic willy-nilly"." Ace said as he recked what his grandma said when he was younger. "She went on and on about it."
"With great power comes risk. No matter how great the wizard, they cannot infinitely use magic." Crowley stated.
"So you're saying the more we use magic, the unhealthier it becomes!?" Grim stuttered out, shivering at the thought of Overblotting.
"No, that's not exactly right." Crowley said.
"Eh?" Y/n and Hooty blinked, bewildered and confused.
"Hmm. It might be faster to just show you rather than explain." Crowley mumbled.
"What does that mean?" Hooty hooted.
"I don't like where this is going." Y/n said as she put her jornal way but kept her pen out, just in case.
"My dear ghosts, it's time for work!" Crowley called out as ghosts appeared all around them.
"Yo yo, you called, headmaster." One ghost said who appeared beside Ace.
"Eh? W-What now?" Ace backed away from the ghost as he got closer to the rest.
"First, please lend me a hand in helping temper these young ones." Crowley told the ghosts.
"Eehh!?" Deuce backed up as well when a ghost appeared beside him.
"Here we go. Lest go a round." The ghost beside Deuce said excitedly.
"Ready your Magical Pens everyone. Your special lesson with the headmaster isn't over yet." Crowley told the First-years as they prepared themselves for what's to come.
"Why do I have a feeling that this is gonna be my new normal?" Y/n mumbled. She is already regretting to come to Night Raven Collage by now.

Ya. Reason for using Eda that's about to go into her Beast form is that it almost resembles an Overblot. I'mma just leave that in your brains for now.
