I was in the astronomy tower. Waiting for Marlene. She wanted to talk about something.

'Hello pumpkin.' Marlene said

'Sunshine.' i said smirking

She gave me a soft kiss and sat down next to me.

'What did you wanna talk about?' i asked

'Okay. First. I want us to go away for the weekend again. I don't know where. But something we haven't seen yet.' she said

'I have an idea. Mountain. Skiing. Snow. That could be lots of fun.' i said

'Yess. Sure. Let's do that.' she said

'Okay. I know a great ski resort near us. We can go there. We'll need a room and an excuse. And i can't use Sev as my excuse. Since he doesn't have to hide it from Sirius anymore. So i need another excuse.' i said

'I'll probably use the same excuse. Mason knows I'm seeing someone. A girl. He just doesn't know who. And he'll cover for me again. So I'm covered.' she smirked

'Yeah. I'm not. Unless i tell someone. Someone i trust and i know would lie for me. I mean one person knowing, wouldn't be the end of the world.' i said

'And who are you gonna tell? All of them are pretty much in a relationship.' she said

'Idk yet. I still have a week to figure that out. What else did you wanna talk about?' i asked

'Well. Christmas ball. I don't know if you wanna tell everyone till then or not.' she said

'Probably not.' i said

'Right. I really wanna go with you tho. I don't just wanna have some stupid date. I wanna go with you.' she said

'Thankfully.... I already thought of that. We're gonna go together. I mean one night at a ball, doesn't have to mean anything. Sure it does for us. But they don't have to know that. So... Let's just say you wanna go alone. I don't know why. Just because. And i will have a date. Someone that i know would bail on me.' i said

'Why would anyone bail on you?' she asked

'Because... He doesn't exist. So I'll tell everyone I'm meeting him at the lake. And I'll be at the lake, waiting. And that's when you see me from inside and come to ask me what I'm doing out there. And then i tell you about my date bailing on me and that i don't wanna go alone. So you tell me i can be your date, since you don't have one. And if anyone asks we're just there together, because we had nobody else to go with. And it's only a dance. Nothing much. Sirius probably won't buy it from you. Since he knows you like me. So he'll be very mad at me and overprotective.' i said

'Why would he be mad at you?' she asked

'Cause I'm playing with your feelings.' i said

'Oh. But you aren't, cause we're dating.' she said

'Yes. But he doesn't know that. Also Remus might suspect something. He knows i had a crush on you and that i smelled you in my Amortentia. And he knows you had a crush on me.' i said

'Let him suspect. Let anyone suspect. They won't know for sure tho. And they won't say anything. I mean, they didn't say anything about you and Remus. So, i think they can keep quiet about us too. But since when have you been thinking about the ball? Cause that was made up perfectly.' she said

'Since our first weekend together at the ocean.' i said

'Wow. That was almost a month ago.' she said
